Friday Faves!

Image
It’s the day after Thanksgiving. First Thanksgiving without any of my parents. I had to “big girl”. But you know what? It was a GOOD day. Lots of non-rushed good conversation. 1) Green Ottoman from Lowe’s  Everyone in my family mad fun of these when they arrived. They are used SO much by everyone who comes into our home. 2) The Bedroom Window by K.L. Slater  This was a really good book! 3) Takeaway boxes from Amazon I purchased these from Amazon for Thanksgiving last year. We had more left over, so I used them again this year. Big hit!  4) Blanket from Amazon  These blankets were bought for Andy’s “kicky squirmy” time. They are soft, and he LOVES to look at them!   Had a great weekend with my fun family and friends.

Friday Faves from Cabo

Here’s what I’m loving this week while in Cabo (Hopefully this photo will show up when I get back home, or at least to you…all I see is a white box) 1) Insomnia by Sarah Pinborough  I enjoyed this book, but not as much as her book Behind Her Eyes. The twist in Behind Her Eyes was so shocking, and I guess I put unfair expectations on this book to do the same.  2) Pure Wonder by Bath & Body Works  My friend Cheryl came into my room the other day, and I was like: what are you wearing?? She smelled so good, that I immediately ordered some and it will be waiting for me when I get home. I hope I think it smells as good on me. 3) Biolage Scalp Sync Shampoo and Conditioner  My scalp has needed a little TLC lately (actually my whole body does, getting old sucks) so I decided to try this Biolage Scalp Sync while in Cabo. I really like it, and I LOVE the smell (I’m all about the smells these days) 4) JM’s Italian Steakhouse  This restaurant was fantastic! From t...

It’s Friday! Here’s what I am loving: 1) CJ  My favorite this week: my son-in-law CJ. He is a great husband, wonderful father, and now he can add superhero to his resume!! (Or at least “snake handler”) He came to my rescue on Halloween and got the snake out of my bedroom. He lost some points for not wanting to kill it, but at least he took it far away. Thank you, CJ!! 2) Blink by K.L. Slater  This was one of my favorite books so far this year. I did not see the twists coming. K.L. Slater is also becoming one of my go to authors.  3) We Used to Live Here by Daniel Hurst  Y’all know I love Daniel Hurst. His books are such easy listens and I thoroughly enjoy them. This one is no exception. 4) Velvet Pumpkins for Fall  I am not a fan of Fall decor, it’s just not my thing. Love Halloween decor, love Christmas decor, just not so much Fall decor. I found these velvet pumpkins on Amazon a couple of years ago and set them all around and I just love them! I was act...
