Friday Faves

This week’s favorites: 1) Ziplock Bag Holder I recently purchased this set of boxes to hold my ziplock bags. My drawer is pretty shallow and the cardboard boxes the bags come in kept getting stuck as they would fold up.  I love these bag holders, they keep my drawer so neat and tidy! Highly recommend! 2) Kenra Spray Clay My hairdresser recommended this (she recommends a lot of things 😂) instead of hairspray. I just purchased my second bottle.  I really like it.  It gives volume, but your hair stays soft and more natural looking. 3) Untold: Malice at the Palace My son Hudson recommended this Netflix documentary to us.  I don’t even like basketball, and this was so interesting. My husband said he learned some things he did not know. 4) Elizabeth’s Kitchen Cabinet Hardware Suffice to say, I’m rather obsessed with my friend Elizabeth’s house.  I may surely be copying this hardware, if not in my kitchen, then somewhere in my house! Have a great weekend!

Friday Faves

It is renovation city around here, but I’m excited for the finished product with my new tile. 1) Clos de los Siete Wine This wine is so yummy and inexpensive. I appreciate more expensive wines, but this one reminds me of our trip to Bora Bora.  Maybe that’s why it tastes so good to me, it always reminds me of that once in a lifetime trip with such dear dear friends. 2) Pureology Nanoworks Gold Shampoo and Conditioner This stuff is RIDICULOUSLY expensive, but my hairdresser recommended it, and I love it!  I haven’t had shiny thicker feeling hair in years.  I stocked up at the Black Friday sale, and will check back every holiday to see if it goes on sale again. According to my hairdresser it’s like the “fountain of youth” for my hair. 3) Sleepgram Pillows We finally finally perfected our pillow game.  It’s been a long run of trial and error. These pillows, another IG ad sucked me in, are awesome! Each one comes with two inserts depending on how thick and firm yo...

Friday Faves Week #2

Here we go!  Got some super fun Faves this week! 1) Candle Lighters I got these as a Christmas present from Walt. He was so proud of himself for “going off the list”.  They are rechargeable and use LED? I dunno, but they are pretty cool. Good job Walt! 2) Family Room Curtains I recently swapped out my family room curtains and at first I wasn’t sure, but now they make me happy every time I walk in the room. 3) Lionel Richie Luggage Tags These just crack me up.  Even Walt commented on them when he saw them laying on the counter.  They were advertised on either IG or FB and I got them.  The back side has my name and address printed on them.  I can’t wait for our next trip when I get to use them! 4) The Valhalla Murders I watched this series on the way to Kenya and I really enjoyed it.  Yes, I watched the whole thing, 18 hours on a plane, and still had time to rest! As a matter of fact, I think I completed all but the last episode on the first fligh...

New Year, New Day…Friday Faves are here!

Happy New Year! Are we ready for 2020 “too”?? I am one of the crazy people that actually enjoyed the lockdown period, but I know if there’s a repeat, it won’t be the same.    I’ve decided to rename my weekly Faves: Friday Faves.  I just like the sound of it, and I think I can be more consistent on Fridays. 1) Engraved Cutting Board  I had these cutting boards made for my kids for Christmas. I’m not sure which is more my favorite: the cutting board, or my daughter’s reaction to it.  My mother, her Gigi, passed away last March. She always made this egg casserole for Christmas morning.  When she got sick, she gave the recipe to Hayley to make it. Now, Hayley makes it for all of our family events and makes it for her Grandad from time to time as well. This was my mom’s original recipe in her handwriting.  Hayley said it may have been the best gift of her life (she’s my sentimental one, gotta love it!). 2) Leopard Vases I love these vases.  They are sm...
