Friday Faves

Had a wonderful time in Napa and a lot of takeaway Faves!  Here are my top 4, but there were many many more, including a great time with our college buds and dear friends! 1)  Hotel Yountville First time staying here, but would love to go back! The rooms are awesome as you can see.  You can throw the doors open and enjoy the fresh air and bubbling fountain.  You can have a glass of wine at the pool fire pit or the fire place near the lobby.  It’s walking distance to many stores and restaurants and a convenient drive to some of our favorite wineries. 2) Fortunati Winery I love everything about this place!  We’ve watched them grow into their own since our first visit in 2015. I love their wine, all of it! (Even the Port, and I don’t like Port at all.) They might be my favorite winery in Napa. The atmosphere, the people, the pairings during tastings, and of course the wine! The first time we went to this winery, the tasting was in their house/kitchen! The next...

Friday Faves are are sneaking in quick today!  I’m in the middle of a reno project, but I’m trying to be consistent with Faves. 1) Geometry Tea Towels I love these dish towels. They have every pattern under the rainbow and they are super absorbent. They make me so happy! Send me a text and I’ll give you a link. Some of my friends say I should give the links in my posts, but I have to say I love it when people text or message me that I don’t talk to everyday and ask me about things. 2) Women’s Health Vitamin My nail guy told me I had thin nails and to try these (I’ve always had thin nails). I just finished my first bottle and last time I was in to get my nails done, he commented, “Your nails look so white! Whiter than mine!” I reminded him about his recommendation and he had forgotten about that, so I think they are working! 3) Mio Nonno Caesar Salad I went to Mio Nonno last night with my friends (in #4) and it was so so good! I want to go back soon for another Caesar! 4) Hig...

Here we go! Can you believe it’s February already?  1) Ninja Air Fryer Thank you Courtney Keyes for enlightening me about this and for my hubby for giving me one for Christmas. I tried it for the first time this week, and while there is definitely a learning curve, I love it!  My potatoes were perfect on the first try, and the broccoli and hash browns have definite possibilities! I love the two drawers.  It’s very easy to use. I got one for my stepfather for Christmas, but he’s too impatient to try it. 2) Gold Flatware I love this gold flatware I recently purchased. Well, I love the knife, big spoon and big fork.  I’m not as crazy about the little spoon and little fork.  They almost look child sized, but not a deal breaker.  They are still usable, but all my “grandparent” friends might actually love them. 3) New artwork I recently commissioned this artwork, inspired by a piece from Anthropologie, and I LOVE it!  It’s exactly what I wanted! It’s ...
