Wednesday Faves Week #16

Image
Good afternoon!  I found some great Faves for the week! 1) I found these multi-purpose bins from a blogger I follow on Instagram called "Organize With Tracy".  She loves The Container Store and I believe endorses their products, but who can blame her?  TCS rocks! I desperately needed to clean out and organize underneath both my kitchen and laundry room sinks.  But with the pipes and drains it's hard to find good organizing containers, and if you don't have containers you have to constantly bend down and feel around to find things.  Tracy peaked my interest when she said these containers were cheap and narrow and she was right!  They were like $2.99!  I LOVE THEM!  Both spaces are now organized and it's a super simple system. 2) Wow!  This stopped me in my tracks.  Who couldn't use a little change in their thinking?  But, really I can only evaluate myself and which way my mind leans... 3) I saw this advertised on TV th...

Weekly Faves Week #15

Image
So, I'm back from my trip to Utah with several of my high school girlfriends.  We had SO much fun (and I got lots of Faves out of the weekend)!  It's funny, when I'm around them, we fall right back into the old days, from the way we speak to one another to the things we can tell one another.  And honestly, I have never laughed so hard in my life.  At one point, I was honking like a goose.  No joke. Before I start my Faves, I just have to mention this:  In the photo below, you will see me with my first and second friends I have ever had.  I think it's so much fun to know them and love them still today, and having them as friends for about 47 years.  Yikes!   Cynthia, or CGJ as I call her (at the top of the photo), was my very first friend. Ever.  Elizabeth, or Elizabeth as I call her since she hates all nicknames derived from Elizabeth, was my very second friend.  She lives in Coppell with me so it's a lot of fun to tell ...

Weekly Faves (a little late)

Image
Ok, I'm a little late because I'm making new Faves for next week!!  But, here's a little description for this week's Faves: 1) Family Feud.  I am addicted to it while cooking dinner at night.  Hudson got me going on it.  It's hilarious. 2) Casey, the faux topiary dog.  He's so cute, as my friend Cynthia says, the photos don't do him justice.  He's adorable. 3) My poufs on my front porch!  They are awesome!  I'm loving my front porch this season. 4) My mom's Easter table.  Of course it's gorgeous, but my Fave is really the laughter and fellowship we shared around the table on Easter.   Awesome week! Happy Friday!
