Wednesday Faves Week #16

Good afternoon!  I found some great Faves for the week!

1) I found these multi-purpose bins from a blogger I follow on Instagram called "Organize With Tracy".  She loves The Container Store and I believe endorses their products, but who can blame her?  TCS rocks! I desperately needed to clean out and organize underneath both my kitchen and laundry room sinks.  But with the pipes and drains it's hard to find good organizing containers, and if you don't have containers you have to constantly bend down and feel around to find things.  Tracy peaked my interest when she said these containers were cheap and narrow and she was right!  They were like $2.99!  I LOVE THEM!  Both spaces are now organized and it's a super simple system.

2) Wow!  This stopped me in my tracks.  Who couldn't use a little change in their thinking?  But, really I can only evaluate myself and which way my mind leans...

3) I saw this advertised on TV this week, and since Gingerale and Lemonade are two of my favorite beverages, I ran out to buy some.  And, I LOVE IT!  

4) Last night's Hello Fresh meal was Tex-Mex Tilapia.  It was my first time to ever cook Tilapia and I have to say, I did a great job!  It was really good.  I will definitely make this again! (The credit goes to Hello Fresh of course, but it will be easy to replicate.)

Friday Faves

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone. There’s a little glitch with this set, so they are going to be replaced, but they still make me squeal every time I walk into the room. 4) Shut the Box Game  My family, as usual...

  Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
