Weekly Faves Week #15
So, I'm back from my trip to Utah with several of my high school girlfriends. We had SO much fun (and I got lots of Faves out of the weekend)! It's funny, when I'm around them, we fall right back into the old days, from the way we speak to one another to the things we can tell one another. And honestly, I have never laughed so hard in my life. At one point, I was honking like a goose. No joke.
Before I start my Faves, I just have to mention this: In the photo below, you will see me with my first and second friends I have ever had. I think it's so much fun to know them and love them still today, and having them as friends for about 47 years. Yikes!
Cynthia, or CGJ as I call her (at the top of the photo), was my very first friend. Ever. Elizabeth, or Elizabeth as I call her since she hates all nicknames derived from Elizabeth, was my very second friend. She lives in Coppell with me so it's a lot of fun to tell our friends we've known each other that long. Now it's time for the Faves:

1) Getting to spend time with these friends in Park City, Utah. Our other Cynthia (bottom right of photo), was such a gracious hostess! Thank you! One of my sub-Faves from the weekend was her awesomely organized laundry room. It inspired me, and today I organized my seasonal salad plates, chargers, mugs and wine glasses.
This photo is just of the plates and chargers, but I love being organized! It's one of my favorite things to do. I also learned a very cool and very helpful iPhone tip from my friend Holly. I looked over at her phone and noticed it was easier to read and looked so crisp! She showed me how to turn on the bold setting and I love it!
2) I love that Miss Finley Jane LOVES furry blankets all around her face. She just nuzzles into them, almost like she's in a trance, and it makes me happy to see!
3) Y'all, I can't get enough of fake plants! A friend of mine sent me a succulent arrangement in that super cool container and yes, I killed all of the succulents...sorry, Brenda. But I loved the container so much, and I found these faux succulents, and now I'm obsessed with the arrangement! It looks GREAT, doesn't it?
4) After putting away my Easter plates, and organizing my seasonal plates today, I pulled these back out. I love them! They are so cute and funny. They say: I'm kind of a Big Dill, I love it when you call me Big Papaya, Holy Shitake, and It takes two to Mango. They are just fun. And my friend Joe just laughs every time he sees them!
So, there ya go! I'm 57% finished with a book that my friends Cynthia and Holly talked me into. It's kind of a "big dill" because my usual page limit in a book is 400. This book has 548, but these girls talked me into it! I'm loving it so far, except that the author clearly is not an Auburn fan...Holly is going to treat me to something special when I finish, ha, ha! I'm going to hold you to it, Hol!
Y'all have a great Wednesday, and I'm so happy to be back on schedule. I don't like posting late. Next, I'm organizing my own laundry room, candles, light bulbs, batteries, etc. Happy Wednesday!
