Wednesday Faves Week #44 AND Halloween!!!

Image
Woo Hoo!  It's time for Wednesday Faves AND it's Halloween!  I won the prize for best costume in my Pure Barre class today.  I felt so special!  I'm pretty sure it was my blinking hat that put me over the top.  :) Love my Pure Barre community!  Now, it's time for my Faves: 1) Mug.  I love this mug!  Not only because it proclaims that I'm the best mom ever, but my daughter gave this to me a couple of years ago AND it's perfect for soup because it's very big!!  As a matter of fact, I like it better for soup than for coffee. 2) Funny.  This made me laugh out loud!  A blogger I follow, #momadvice, posts 10 funny things on Instagram on Tuesdays and some of them totally crack me up!  This is one of those. 3) Taco Bell Tacos.  Now, haters, don't comment on my post please, this is not about shaming.  I LOVE Taco Bell tacos.  I'm just telling you what MY Faves for the week are.  I don't need to ...

Here we go...it's Wednesday! 1. These dog tags.  I love these cute little dog tags and they have come in handy more times than I can count.  I especially love Gemma's tag this week.  Some very nice ladies who were lunching at Palio's (and if you live in Coppell you know how crazy dangerous this is) to tell me that Gemma was visiting with them.  Gemma is my son's dog and if anything happened to her I would feel beyond terrible.  My dogs will never be without these tags. 2. Albums in Photos on my phone.  I have just recently discovered this feature, I know, I know...way behind the times.  It is so helpful for things like my donations, hair ideas, my book list (which people are always asking me about), etc.  I was always hunting for specific photos, but NO more! 3. Wet Skin Moisturizer.  It's that time again...when the weather gets chilly I prefer to moisturize while still in the warm shower.  This one is new this year and I'...

Best laid plans, and then the day got away from me! When I don't do my Faves first thing in the morning, suddenly it's Thursday.   1) Political "season" is making me weary.  While I do love a Taco Bell taco, this cracks me up and sums it all up.  Just vote. 2) Our Grow Group Game Night was SO much fun!  We played a game called Crazy Bridge.  It was a really fun game.  I love this Grow Group Community.  So very thankful for them. 3) We went to Valley Creek Church with our son, Harrison, on Sunday.  Great church, great message!  They are in a sermon series called Abnormal and this past Sunday's message was called Speak Like Jesus.  When I got home, I listened to the first message in the series about wisdom.  Good stuff!  (Their website is super easy to navigate as well, I'll be listening to more sermons in the future) 4) Current mood.  This just cracked me up when I saw it. Happy Thursday!

Good morning!  Hope everyone is staying dry and safe.  I heard someone say that October is taking the place of April in terms of rain.  It is fine by me!  I was born in April and when growing up, I hated that it rained so much in my birthday month.  Time for my Faves: 1) Rodan & Fields Radiant Beauty.  Ok, so has your Facebook been flooded with R & F Consultants, many just back from convention, RAVING about the new products?  Mine sure has. I will admit that I thought: Oh goodness, they are definitely on a convention high and going a little overboard.  But, I tried this one and I honestly was amazed!  I'm not totally sure what it does, but I don't want to be without it.  Ever. I have been using it as my foundation even though it's a "dermacosmetic" so it's helping my face while I wear it.  A sidenote: After I apply it with that little brush, the brush still looks clean (not all make up gunky).  It's like voodo...

Wednesday Faves Week #40

Ahhhhh, my favorite month of the year for decorating is here!  I love Halloween decor, love the drama, so you will most likely see a Halloween Fave each Wednesday this month.  Not really sorry about that...but, first things first. 1) Hello Fresh.  I know y'all are sick of hearing me say how much I love it, but I can't help it!  I really do!  Now that I'm in the Hello Fresh groove, the horizons have been expanded!  With Walt's travel/work schedule, I'll sometimes make a meal, eat it for dinner and then again for lunch.  Or I'll invite someone over (like one of my kids) to eat with me.  But, Walt is very excited when he is home for our Hello Fresh meals, and I'm even finding them to be a little easier now that I'm used to them.  I've about got my mom convinced to try them! 2) Clean Mascara Wand.  This may seem like a silly Fave, but hear me out! I got these back when I had eyelash extensions, and I've since ordered them on Amazo...
