Wednesday Faves Week #44 AND Halloween!!!

Woo Hoo!  It's time for Wednesday Faves AND it's Halloween!  I won the prize for best costume in my Pure Barre class today.  I felt so special!  I'm pretty sure it was my blinking hat that put me over the top.  :)

Love my Pure Barre community!  Now, it's time for my Faves:


1) Mug.  I love this mug!  Not only because it proclaims that I'm the best mom ever, but my daughter gave this to me a couple of years ago AND it's perfect for soup because it's very big!!  As a matter of fact, I like it better for soup than for coffee.

2) Funny.  This made me laugh out loud!  A blogger I follow, #momadvice, posts 10 funny things on Instagram on Tuesdays and some of them totally crack me up!  This is one of those.

3) Taco Bell Tacos.  Now, haters, don't comment on my post please, this is not about shaming.  I LOVE Taco Bell tacos.  I'm just telling you what MY Faves for the week are.  I don't need to know their nutritional value, or that they're so gross, etc. etc.  I just love these tacos!  Yum!

4) Can I Get a Connection? Have you heard this song???  It's by One Republic.  I challenge you to go and listen to it!  It will get stuck in your head and you'll be singing it for days!  I love the lyrics to the song, but I am telling you the chorus gets in your head!  It makes me happy!

It has come to my attention that my husband doesn't always read my blog.  I was telling him about one of my Faves' posts a couple of weeks back, and he was clueless.  This is disappointing news...so, Walt, let's see if you read the post this week!

Happy Halloween everyone!  Loving the cold temps today, just stay away rain!  We have our traditional front porch sitting, I'Fratelli pizza eating, wine sipping, candy passing out night planned (with a few tricks thrown in!).

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone.   Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
