It's time for Wednesday Faves!  Isn't it Thursday, you ask?  Why yes, yes it is.  What can I say?  Better late than never... 1) I got new lamps for my bedroom and I love them!  They are fun and really light up the room so much better than my other ones did.  Wayfair has just what I need, ha, ha! 2) Our awesome Grow Group gets more awesome every day!  As of this year, we are all empty nesters.  Our group has a total of 33 kids in it.  Ahem, "adult children"... on Tuesday night, each couple drew the number of children they have (you couldn't get your own) and committed to praying for them for the semester of Grow Group.  I love it, and consider it an honor to pray for these young adults.  I look forward to getting to know more about them and seeing how God will work in their lives in the coming months.  I am also beyond happy to see other adults pouring into my children.  Love it! 3) I love my UGG slip-ons....

I had hoped to expand my blog beyond just my Faves in 2019, but so far, there has been no time.  My hat goes off to those who seem to do it all!  I'll get there, eventually.  This week's Faves are pretty fun! 1) My lovely daughter gave me this tote bag for Christmas.  I had seen it online months earlier, so when she told me about it I already had "my four" in my Notes on my phone.  You pick favorite four things, for me it was ID TV, Online Shopping, Finley (sweet baby girl), and Wine.  The bag helps some sort of charity or other, but it's just so darned fun!  Thank you, Hayley! 2) I have laughed at this for days!  Walt laughed out loud at work when I texted it to him.  I saw it on Facebook and I have to say that the girl who ends up with this kid will be very lucky.  He has set his future marriage up for success! 3) I was very lucky to get two weighted blankets for Christmas, from two people who know me VERY well!  I love t...

Well, hello there!  It's Wednesday again, and I'm finally feeling back to my old self.  I found so many Faves this week that it was hard to narrow it down to four, but I pushed through!  Here they are: 1) I bought these cups for each member of my family for Christmas and I had SO much fun picking the right sentiment on each cup for each person.  This is the one I bought for my son, Harrison, and it might be my favorite.  Harrison told me that when he's at work his boss will walk by and turn the cup so that the words face the customers.  I love that!  2) Walt got this game for Christmas from our daughter, Hayley, and it is hilarious!  I highly recommend it.  I'm not sure what is the most fun, but I suspect it is watching your friends and family get so tickled they can't even read the cards.  Highly recommend! 3) Also for Christmas, Walt received this digital photo frame from Nixplay.  What I love about it is this:...

Here we go full on into 2019!  It was a rough start for me as I got sick on New Year's Day and am still kinda feeling it.  Today the doctor said what I had was either viral or Mountain Cedar Fever, or more likely, both.  I got a steroid shot today, so we will see...I told my friends that steroid shots are nectar of of the gods.  I have high hopes!  But, onward and upward to my Faves! 1) This stuff is the best!! It has helped me get the rest I need (and Walt needs) while I have been sick.  My daughter Hayley found it in our medicine box when she was sick at Christmas and recommended it to me when I got sick.  This is my second bottle!  It's a winner! 2) My friend Donna recommended this trick and I jumped on it!  On January 2nd (because I was SUPER sick on January 1st), I turned all the hangers in my closet backwards.  As I wear an item, the hanger goes back the other way.  Whatever hasn't been worn by June 1st (unless the...
