2019 Week #3 Wednesday Faves

Well, hello there!  It's Wednesday again, and I'm finally feeling back to my old self.  I found so many Faves this week that it was hard to narrow it down to four, but I pushed through!  Here they are:


1) I bought these cups for each member of my family for Christmas and I had SO much fun picking the right sentiment on each cup for each person.  This is the one I bought for my son, Harrison, and it might be my favorite.  Harrison told me that when he's at work his boss will walk by and turn the cup so that the words face the customers.  I love that! 

2) Walt got this game for Christmas from our daughter, Hayley, and it is hilarious!  I highly recommend it.  I'm not sure what is the most fun, but I suspect it is watching your friends and family get so tickled they can't even read the cards.  Highly recommend!

3) Also for Christmas, Walt received this digital photo frame from Nixplay.  What I love about it is this:  I gave the log in to each of my family members (although Harrison is the only one of the kids to actually set it up...) and they can send photos from wherever they are directly to the photo frame.  It's like little surprises when I least expect it!  And, they can add a caption which is also super fun!

4) I have been on a binge watch of New Girl lately.  I love this show!  It is SO funny!

Friday Faves

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone.   Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
