Wednesday Faves Week #24

Ok y'all, it has been a busy week!  I love these Faves, they make me smile BIG!  


1) This guy, Michael Tait.  I just found out I'm 3 weeks older than him.  I loved him in DC Talk, and I love him in Newsboys.  My favorite song is Live With Abandon. (A funny side story: I do not have any tattoos, and most likely never will.  I told my friend, Donna, one day that I would consider a small tattoo on the inside of my wrist that said "Live with Abandon" and she said, "WHY would you ever get a tattoo that says 'Livin' with a bandit'?" Ha, ha!) I also love God's Not Dead.  Seriously, check the Newsboys out!

2) While at the Interstate Batteries Convention, I was coveting my friend Melissa's watchband.  She generously shared with me the link and I ordered it on the spot!  It was waiting for me when I got back home.  Love leopard and love this watchband!

3) This little Pineapple Princess, Charlotte.  My daughter used to babysit Charlotte and her brothers, and she has always made me smile.  Her mom, Valerie, posted her tap recital video, and I must have watched it 20 times!  Click on Pineapple Princess above to see it.  I love when she throws her arms back and does a little shimmy shake of her tutu.  Thank you Valerie for allowing me to post her in my Faves this week!

4) I am loving Charlotte Tilbury lipstick.  My current favorite is Very Victoria (pictured above), but I also like Super Cindy and (yikes) Bitch Perfect.

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone. There’s a little glitch with this set, so they are going to be replaced, but they still make me squeal every time I walk into the room. 4) Shut the Box Game  My family, as usual...

  Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
