2019 Week #8 Wednesday Faves

A little late in posting, but Cabo is my excuse!  And, it's also where all of my Faves come from this week.

1) First up are these fun adorable hats.  I got them for the girls' trip, and they suited us perfectly!  Amazon had a ton more sentiments, it was so hard to choose.  When I brought them out, Cynthia and Elizabeth both chose the ones I had chosen for them and I was left with the one I was hoping for!  If they get floppy you just wet them and lay them out flat and they are good to go again!

2) This one may be TMI, but just keepin' it real folks.  This was in our bathroom and as my hubs said, it's a great alternative to sprays.  Just sayin', it eliminated any odors, not just covered them up.  (Ha, ha, do you ever see tampon commercials or other embarrassing things and think: I would never want to do that commercial!? Well, I guess this is similar, but it's my PSA for the day. You're welcome.)

3) I love this hairdryer in our resort!  It makes my hair so shiny and soft (and a little thicker feeling).  I also love that the buttons are on the bottom of the dryer so you don't accidentally turn it off or change the settings when you are drying your hair.  It's crazy to me that hairdryers literally blow out hot air.  How can one "set" of hot air be so different from another "set"??  I found this dryer online and it was pricey but I bought it.  I know I have had other hairdryers as my Faves in the past and I still stand by those, but this one is really great too!

4) I love this makeup bag for travel.  This little pouch spreads out to a big circle so you can see all of your makeup and then it closes back to this little pouch size to pack away.  I've used it for over a year and I love it!

Friday Faves

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone.   Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
