Wednesday Faves Week 9
Good morning! Got off to a little slower start this morning, but here we go!
1) My most favorite Fave in a long time is Curt Jones! I really don’t watch American Idol anymore because of, well, you know...it’s just different now. Anyway, there wasn’t much on Sunday night, so we watched. If you can find their audition/story online, go watch! His wife had been battling a pill addiction and he stuck with her. She’s been sober for a year and they decided to audition for Idol together. She made it, but he did not. He was SO truly happy for her and the way he carried himself both through her addiction and through her “ticket to Hollywood” makes this guy my Fave! You are my American Idol, Curt Jones!
2) Rodan & Fields Redefine line. I used this for a couple of years, but needed a change. I think I received more compliments on my skin during that time than any other. Recently, I decided to pull it back out and try using it again. I am LOVING it! My face feels so soft and I think it’s hydrating it well! I can’t use the roller on my face, but I have been using it on my neck with good results.
3) Natural Habits Essential Oils are awesome! Remember last week I told you about Nick Viall’s Podcast? Well, these are his oils. They are kind of pricey, but I love them! There’s one more called Release which I really wanted to try diffusing at night, but they put the wrong oil in the Release box. (Side note: Their customer service is wonderful so hopefully Release will arrive soon!) I am all about diffusing these days and right now Rise is my favorite for daytime!
4) Our Book Club selection for February is The Rumor by Lesley Kara. 🤪I haven’t finished it yet (it’s due tomorrow) but those that have seem to have really liked it! And I am enjoying trying to figure out the ending...we’ll see how I do!

UPDATE:
After taking this cutie on my trip, I’m giving it a B-. A travel backpack is a MUST for me. A lot of people, my momma included, don’t like backpacks (mainly for the look) but I like carrying certain things when I travel and this is the easiest/least bulky way. I am picky about my travel backpacks and this just didn’t work for me. It was almost too stiff, had a black interior (so I couldn’t see things) and was a tad too small. I do think it could be cute as a purse backpack. I like backpacks that don’t look too sporty or “school-ish” but those are hard to find! I started with Vera Bradley but I just do not care for the patterns. My friend Karyn who was traveling with me suggested Jon Hart. I am ALL about coated canvas so I am going to give this one a try for my next trip:
We’ll see. I’ll report back! If anyone has a backpack recommendation please let me know (although this one seems pretty cool)!
Happy Wednesday!
