Wednesday Faves

I am on a responsible vacation this week, so no haters! But I still have some Faves.

1) Fancy Like Ok, I had this on my Faves’ list, then took it off when everyone became obsessed with it, then put it back on when my daughter Hayley told me I should…I am obsessed, stop in my tracks to watch the Applebee’s commercial when it comes on (but I still don’t think it will persuade me to try Applebee’s again).

2) Rechargeable/Portable Mister Fan This thing I LOVE! I have had it for several years, but kind of forgot about it.  I keep it in my travel backpack, it would have come in handy in Scottsdale.  I remembered before this vacay, but still forgot to pull it out and use it the first day. Oh my, yesterday we brought it to the pool and even put water in it. I love it!  It definitely is a life saver when faced with heat.

3) Lazy Susan Table Don’t own this, but MUST figure out a similar option for our home. Walt liked it so much he even tried to find a source on the bottom of it. It’s in a Rum Bar (closed for Covid) where we are staying. It will be super cool in another time when people can gather. I’ve seen lazy Susan tables before, but this one we fell in love with! We are thinking of finding one for our study/lounge area.

4) Clickbait I loved this series!  I watched it on the plane and finished it at the resort. I thought it was going to be one way, but it was completely different than I expected. SO good, except the blonde, Pia, drove me a little crazy.

Friday Faves

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone. There’s a little glitch with this set, so they are going to be replaced, but they still make me squeal every time I walk into the room. 4) Shut the Box Game  My family, as usual...

  Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
