Friday Faves

 My biggest Fave this week is cold weather. I love cold weather! Could do without the rain though.


1) Downy Rinse & Refresh This is a new find for me. I am SUPER particular about my house smelling good. People always comment that the house smells so good, so I do NOT want even a hint of dog smell. I washed all of the dogs’ blankets in this stuff and they smell so good! Can’t wait to try it on sweaty workout or golf clothes.

2) Velvet Pumpkins I typically do not decorate for “Fall”. I like decorating for Halloween and Christmas. Not crazy about pumpkins and leaves.  However, this year I bought a bunch of little velvet pumpkins an have them displayed on my dining table, kitchen island, and coffee table. I kinda love them!

3) Mr. Clean Magic Eraser I do not really know what is in this thing, but it is magic! Cleans my white walls every time!

4) L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara This is an oldie but a goodie. I have tried all the expensive mascaras and always come back to this. It’s $8.99! It has the right amount of coverage without looking like spider legs, and it doesn’t irritate my eyes.

That’s it for this week! I’ll leave you with this. I think my husband has been replaced, ha, ha! Snuggle up and stay warm!

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone.   Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
