Summer Faves continued…

 Still taking advantage of chill summer time schedules, but I do have some more Faves.


1)Lunar Silks Silk Pillowcases I have tried a lot of silk pillowcases (apparently satin ones are a big no no) and these are my favorite. They are soft and cool. I recently even bought one for travel.

2) TUNISE Portable Handheld Fan My friend Kim had a similar one of these on our trip to Cabo. She would set it up on the dinner table. It was awesome! I found this one on Amazon and I already love it! It has 6 speeds, and also folds to sit on the table. I just need to remember to keep it charged because I plan on taking it everywhere this summer.

3) SUN Cosmetic Bag Once again, Kim coming in clutch (no pun intended)! She gave these to us on our trip to Cabo, and to be honest, at first I thought I would never use it. However, I kept my sunscreens in it while on our trip and also when I got back home. I just put the whole bag in my cabinet and when we are going to the pool I grab the whole SUN bag and throw it in my bigger bag. I am loving it! 

4) Beats Fit Pro Earbuds I love these things. I have another pair that’s more skin colored, but I wear them around the house listening to my book while doing nighttime chores and my husband would just be talking and talking to me because he couldn’t see them. So I got these bright colored ones to help him out. Ha! These fit the ear nicely and don’t fall out. They are very reliable!

Friday Faves

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone. There’s a little glitch with this set, so they are going to be replaced, but they still make me squeal every time I walk into the room. 4) Shut the Box Game  My family, as usual...

  Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
