Friday Faves are BACK!

It’s been a minute since I’ve done Friday Faves. My collage is a little rough, but I’m back and in town for awhile!


 1) Waffle Knit Jumpsuit This comfy jumpsuit came from Amazon and has been a lifesaver this summer. I had already planned it as a Fave before the unplanned twinning at dinner with my daughter last night. Hers is a little different (and has room for a large baby bump) but we laughed so hard that we matched exactly!

2) Bad Monkey on Apple TV I had seen this advertised on Apple TV. Since we are back in town and currently between shows we decided to give it a try. WE LOVE IT!! Unfortunately for impatient people, not all episodes have dropped yet. We’ve seen the first 3, and now we are on a weekly basis. 

3) Weighted Fitness Vest I got this for Walt. His buddy has an actual backpack that he wears when walking (40lbs), and it is $$$$. I had seen these several places online and it is less $$. This one is 30lbs. He is loving it so far! If he really loves it and uses it a lot we may upgrade him to the actual backpack his buddy has, or we may just stay with this one.

4) Motion Sensor Under Cabinet Lights These were in our bathroom in the Wyoming Inn in Jackson Hole. We loved these! I have something similar in our bathrooms at home, under the cabinets over the potties, but these, lighting up the floor were awesome! I’d like to maybe get some for under our bed. Our bed used to light up when you got out of it, but it stopped. If I can’t figure it out, I’m going to try and find these.

Not bad for my first week back! Have a great weekend!

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone. There’s a little glitch with this set, so they are going to be replaced, but they still make me squeal every time I walk into the room. 4) Shut the Box Game  My family, as usual...

  Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
