Friday Faves

Here is what I’m loving this week:


 1) Phlur Discovery Set Remember last week I had perfume layering as a Fave? I wanted to see what other scents in the Phlur line were like. I really like Missing Persons and had heard great things about Father Figure. I didn’t love that one, but I did love Tangerine Boy. This was a great way to try them all, and I’ve almost tried them all. Still loving Missing Persons the best.

2) Skylight Digital Photo Frame I also have the Nix Digital Photo Frame and I love them both. My family can add photos to it and it’s such a fun surprise to see what they’ve added. Now that I have spent the time working on the settings (so it sleeps at night, etc) I’m truly enjoying it! 

3) Motivational Water Bottle I’m not a Stanley girl or really a water bottle girl at all. I do like this water bottle because I fill it up once and can see where I should be on drinking water during the day. It definitely helps with my water intake. And I always need help with my water intake.

4) Elemis Superfood Midnight Facial This is my favorite nighttime moisturizer. I used to love a moisturizer by Beautycounter and they stopped making it. I stumbled upon Elemis while on a cruise and discovered this particular product on my own (I’m a sucker for pink, ha!) I LOVE it! I got a facial in Pebble Beach and they suggested a moisturizer by Skin Medica. Ugh, I could not stand the smell (I’m a stickler for smells) no matter how well the product works. I went back to this one, and I love its light fruity smell and its consistency as I apply it. I will be so sad if they stop making it.

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone. There’s a little glitch with this set, so they are going to be replaced, but they still make me squeal every time I walk into the room. 4) Shut the Box Game  My family, as usual...

  Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
