Current Faves

 It’s been a long time since I’ve posted Faves, so I thought I’d post some things I’m liking lately.


1) The Four Seasons I recently watched this on my flight home from Cabo. The episodes are short, and I finished when I got home, but I LOVED this! Loved it!

2) Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks Blush Stick in Chouchette I became a fan of this blush stick a couple of years ago, when my daughter in law told me about it. There are several colors I like, but lately my favorite is Chouchette. It was recommended to me in NYC and I love it! It is kind of $$$ but lasts forever because a little goes a long way.

3) SOJOS Retro Oversized Square Polarized Sunglasses In contrast to my expensive blush stick, these babies cost about $15. I always wear polarized, and these are just fun! I like that they are lighter and I can see out of them. 

4) Amy Bradley Is Missing Last night my husband hosted poker at our house, so I holed up in the bedroom and watched this 3-part series on Netflix. Normally, I don’t like shows that are still a mystery at the end, but this one was truly interesting. Why is there always that one or two people who are really just on the show for the money or “to be on TV” and they offer no real value except to laugh at them???

So there you have it. I’ll be back on the road next week, but hopefully can find some time for some Faves!

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone. There’s a little glitch with this set, so they are going to be replaced, but they still make me squeal every time I walk into the room. 4) Shut the Box Game  My family, as usual...

  Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
