Wednesday Faves Week #8

Whoa!  I can't believe it's been a whole week since I've posted anything.  I went to Vegas last Thursday, had a blast, and didn't have time to post! Vegas presented several Fave possibilities, but I did just narrow it down to two.  Here we go!

1) I know, I know, I'm SUPER late to the party, but I love Hello Fresh!  (Thanks Tracey Kersey!) We just started it this week, and we are in love.  Not only is the food delicious, but we also get to eat at home which ends up saving us money.  The first night we had Pork Tenderloin (shown above). 


Last night we had Chicken Pineapple Quesadillas, and my husband said they were the best Quesadillas he's ever had.  We'll see what tonight brings...

2) Beer Park, Las Vegas.  This place never disappoints!!  It's right outside the Paris Hotel on a second story rooftop.  We played games, we ate, we drank, we laughed, we people watched...LOVE this place!  Here we are with our favorite "memes" from What Do You Meme? (a super fun game, btw):

3) I am loving Gold Bond Neck and Chest Firming Cream.  I feel kind of silly loving it, well, because it's Gold Bond.  But I actually feel like it's working!

4) Last, but CERTAINLY not least...Bruno Mars.  His concert was over the top!  I loved every minute of it!



I think Bruno Mars might be my favorite concert ever.  He was so much fun!  (Of course these girls made it pretty fun too)

Try to stay warm today.  It is just cold.  Rainy and cold!  My poor neighbor's driveway is totally under water....

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone. There’s a little glitch with this set, so they are going to be replaced, but they still make me squeal every time I walk into the room. 4) Shut the Box Game  My family, as usual...

  Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
