Wednesday Faves Week #11 (yes, I know it's Thursday...)

Hello, hello!  Getting back in town on a Monday has me totally off on my week.  I've been so confused...not surprising, I'm sure.  But I do have Faves!

1)That is the most beautiful hand I have ever seen! Yes, it's mine, so let me explain: I'll be doing a blog post on the whole story sometime soon, but we have now ended a 4-year ordeal with a mysterious allergy affecting my hands every time I traveled to Cabo or Cancun.  My hands would get red, SUPER itchy bumps all over them, and they would blister and my fingertips would peel off.  No joke.  I went to two different dermatologists and an allergist trying to figure out what was going on.  We thought it was Advil, but thanks to my friend Donna, we finally figured out it was limes.  We tested the theory out this past weekend in Cancun, and NO RASH!  That beautiful hand is definitely one of my favorite Faves!

2)Honestly, one of my very favorite things is when people tell me they tried one of my Faves and loved it! I received this text from my son, Harrison, this past Saturday.  I LOVE that he watched the movie based on my last Faves' post.  It's normally not either of our kind of movie, but he gave it a try and loved it! As did I, as you know!

3)This Baby Dog is a nose saver!  Sometimes my sweet Finley isn't so sweet smelling, especially when she rolls around in dead things, and this stuff makes her smell baby fresh until we can bathe her.  We love it!  

4)I love these new Rocket Dog flip flops!  I am a flip flop kind of girl, and I am loving these!  In fact, I love them so much, I bought them in the other color too.  They have an 80's kind of vibe and I just love that!

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone. There’s a little glitch with this set, so they are going to be replaced, but they still make me squeal every time I walk into the room. 4) Shut the Box Game  My family, as usual...

  Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
