Weekly Faves Week #18 (and #17)

Good morning everyone!  So, last week was quite a week and I did not do my Faves.  I was waiting and waiting for my friend Holly to tell me that her mom asked about them, and on the weekend, SHE DID!  So, here you go Miss Vicki, two weeks worth of Faves, just for you!

Week #18:

1) My best birthday present ever!  I have been asking for a washer and dryer for all of my holidays for the past year.  My hubby did not want to be known as "that guy" who gives his wife appliances for a gift.  He finally gave in and I couldn't be happier!  I'm super glad I went back to a top loading washer, I like it so much better.

2) I loved this book!  I like "POV" books a lot and this one did not disappoint.  It is one of my favorites of this year.

3) I saw this quote on IG, posted by Mom Advice, whom I follow.  I have been thinking about it for the past couple of days, and just wow...such good advice!

4) Pure Barre hits the Faves again.  I completed the 40 in 60 challenge and what did I win?  Strength and discipline!  Pure Barre has helped me in so many ways.  I do truly love it!

Week #17:

1) My trip to Auburn to celebrate Hudson's award was amazing.  So proud of him! Auburn has been an amazing place for Hudson.  He has worked so hard for the past four years, and it has paid off.  But, the Auburn family is also something to behold.  They are so supportive and encouraging, they are amazing.  I can't believe Hudson's (and our) time there is over.  War Eagle!

2) On my birthday, I wanted to go to Parma (in Lewisville) for dinner.  I love that place!  It's quaint and has a great vibe.  And the food is wonderful!  I love that they show old black and white movies on the TV while you eat.  I never watch those kinds of movies at home, but I look forward to watching them while I'm at Parma.  It adds to the charm!

3) Miss Finley and I have gotten into the habit of snuggling in the bed for a bit in the mornings whenever possible.  She sleeps in her crate, then takes a little morning nap in my bed while I read.  This has become one of my favorite times in my day.

4) Rodan & Fields Redefine Regime.  I know, I know, I have been touting the praises of other skincare lines lately, and while they are good, my finicky face needed to go back to my tried and true Redefine.  I even got my daughter, Hayley, hooked on it!  It's just really so good.

Whew!  It feels good to be all caught up again!  Have a great day!
