Wednesday Faves Week #27

Happy Fourth of July, everyone!  I know Wednesday is the least favored day of the week for the 4th holiday, but it's what we got this year!  Even if the day of the week isn't a Fave, I have found several things that ARE my Faves:


1) While I was in Vail, I started drinking a lot more water, in part because it helps with altitude headaches, and also because the friend I was with drinks a ton of water and I know how good it is for you.  When I got back, my friend Mona told me about this water bottle called Three Drops of Life.  It comes in two sizes, 32 oz. and 50 oz, and is supposed to be filled twice a day.  I bought both, but felt water logged after drinking over 100 oz of water on the first day, so I'm using the smaller one until I can work up to that big boy!  I love these bottles because the times are printed right on the bottle and it's so manageable to drink 8-10 oz ever couple of hours.  I'm actually getting more water because I still drink separate glasses of water at meals.  Love it!

2) I purchased my patriotic wreaths on Etsy a few years back and I just love them!  They have held up so well and are so festive!

3) My new Keurig is also a Fave.  At the house in Vail they had the coolest coffee machines and I decided I wanted a cool new Keurig.  My husband rolled his eyes because our old Keurig has served us well for over 5 years and is still working.  It has never failed us!  But this one is so cute!  I love the blue color.  I did get it on sale, so Walt should be happy about that, right?

4) The online Keurig store was having a sale on K-cups as well, so I decided to try the Starbucks Pike Place Roast.  Man it's good!  It may be my new favorite!  I usually don't buy Starbucks brand because it's more expensive, but I may have to splurge on this going forward.  I guess it's still cheaper than going into Starbucks (which I never do).

Friday Faves

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone. There’s a little glitch with this set, so they are going to be replaced, but they still make me squeal every time I walk into the room. 4) Shut the Box Game  My family, as usual...

  Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
