Wednesday Faves Week #29

I'm pooped, as I've just returned from Houston, setting up my son's new apartment.  Some weeks my Faves just come easily, and this is one of those weeks.  My friend Vicki's husband, Bill, will be excited this week as my Faves will cost him little to no money!  (One day he told me to stop posting things that cost him money, ha, ha!) I think you'll like these if you give them a chance.

1) I think many of you saw the brick wall project I posted this weekend. I love this peel and stick wallpaper!  Awhile back I posted in my Faves a similar peel and stick brick wallpaper that I used in my closet.  I think I like this pattern even better.  I'm anxious to try the wood plank pattern somewhere as well.  So far both projects have stayed put!

2) We got this desk chair at Office Depot for Hudson's study area.  We had assembled a lot of furniture, lamps, etc. throughout the weekend.  When we were purchasing this chair Hudson asked the guy if we could just buy the floor model.  The guy said no.  So Hudson asked him how many pieces there were to assemble.  The guys said there were only about 7.  Then he told us that he would charge $12 to assemble the chair for us.  Hudson hesitated because he didn't want to spend money unnecessarily, but I immediately said: DONE!  That may have been the best $12 I have ever spent and it immediately landed itself in my Faves for the week!

3) This one just slipped into the Faves last night.  We have seen all of the Family Feuds out right now, and I wasn't in the mood for AGT, so I looked on Amazon Prime for something new to watch.  After reading the summary of Fearless, I decided to give it a try.  It's English, but fairly easy to understand.  My husband was doing work on the computer so he said he really didn't care what we watched.  3/4 of the way through Episode 1 he said, "Well, they really know how to suck you in, don't they?  And I bet we won't know who did it at the end of this episode..."  I told him we would not, this is a series.  He likes closure at the end of every episode because he doesn't know when he'll have time to watch more.  There are only 6 episodes in Season 1 and we watched three of them last night, so we'll probably finish it tonight!  It's pretty good!  It became a Fave when Walt really liked it too!  I like it when we find shows to watch together.

4) And finally, this song: Reckless Love.  It's a Christian song that BOTH of my boys showed me this week.  I figured if both boys suggested it, I'd better look into it!  It's SO SO good!  Sometimes I'm funny about Christian music.  I don't like "sing songy" or "la la la la la....everything's perfect in life" type songs.  I like Christian songs that stir your emotions, songs that are passionate!  This one fits the bill for sure!  And I love that it speaks to my kiddos as well.

Have a great Wednesday!  Stay cool!
