Wednesday Faves Week #46

It's COLD y'all!  Are you loving it?  I know most of you aren't, but I actually am.  So let's get to my Faves for the week:

1) This nail color.  I am loving this nail color this week!  It's a silvery grey with sparkles.  I have received many compliments and it will be perfect for Christmas and New Year's.

2) The Haunting of Hill House.  I know we've kind of moved on from the Halloween season and into the feel good Thanksgiving/Christmas season, but I only recently finished this series and really enjoyed it!  I love scary shows, but I'm very picky about them.  This one was very well done.  Thank you for the recommendation, Lawrence and Hayley!

3) Notebook App.  I just discovered this app and I love it!  It syncs to all my devices and basically it is a series of Notebooks you create.  I have three right now: My Notebook (default, you are required to have this one), Records, and Purchase/Buy.  In my Records Notebook, for example,  I have Books Read in 2016, 2017, and 2018.  I also have the years we've lived in each house we've owned (yes, there have been a few), my Pure Barre Attendance, and several other things I'm keeping track of.  It is a SUPER easy App to use.  For my longer notes, I type them in from my laptop, but they are still waiting for me on my phone.  I plan on making a note of all of the supplements/medications I take so I'll have it on the ready the next time I go to the doctor.  They always ask and I can never remember as I'm rather new to the supplement game.  Here is what the App looks like when opened:

I highly recommend this FREE App!  As a side note, that little Scanner App to the left of my Notebook App is pretty awesome too!  My son, Hudson, told me to download it so I could send him a document, and it was SUPER easy!  I used to have to scan something, put it on a flash drive and plug it in to my computer.  No more!

4) Kindle Paperwhite w/Back Lighting.  I love all things Kindle really, but I would read from my Fire when inside, and my Paperwhite when out in the sun.  I saw on Amazon that I could trade in my old Paperwhite and get a bit of a credit towards this new one.  I love it!  Next time I travel I'll only have to take one device because this one can be used indoors or outside.  The little backlight is the key.  So I can read in bed with the lights off while the hubs is sleeping.  I'm very excited about this!  The ONLY thing I don't love is that the covers of the books appear in black and white, and I do like seeing the colored covers, but that's a relatively small negative.  I'll survive.

Happy Wednesday everyone!  Stay warm!
