Wednesday Faves Week #48
We are getting close, y'all. It's almost the end of the year! So I am getting in the Christmas spirit as a couple of my Faves reflect, but y'all, I am SO excited about one of my Faves this week! So, let's get started...
1) These leggings. I have discovered Calvin Klein leggings and I love them! This is just one of my fun patterns. They actually motivate me to work out. Ha! I like them because they are high waisted and thick and come in a lot of fun patterns. They make me feel sassy (like I need a reason)!
2) Ice Cube in the Dryer hack. Y'all this might rank up there in my Faves' Hall of Fame! One day my brilliant son, Harrison, came over to do laundry. He actually brought some clean wrinkled clothes over and put them in the dryer. He then goes to my ice maker and grabs a handful of ice, hurling it into the dryer with his clothes. I asked him, "What in the heck did you just do?" to which he explained that he looked up on the internet and by putting ice cubes in the dryer it helps get wrinkles out of your dried clothes because the ice turns to steam when the heat hits it. It was SO loud for the first few minutes that I thought he was nuts. We have been trouble lately with our clothes coming out of the dryer very wrinkled even when I do get right to them, but for sure if I let them sit. My poor husband has been getting a little frustrated. This week I had let them sit for a long while and when my husband went to get his jeans, they were awful. He said, "Good thing I have a back up pair...." (Wife of the Year right here, yikes!) . I remembered Harrison's hack so I went and grabbed a handful of ice and hurled it in, then set the dryer for "Speed Dry". Oh. My. Gosh. Those same jeans did not have one wrinkle in them! The rest of the load looked equally as fresh and wrinkle free. I've done it three times since then. I'm hooked!! Thank you, Harrison!!
3) Beauty Queen in her Christmas Fashion. Do any of you remember that commercial on TV years and years ago that said: When you can't hold up any longer, but your hair can! Remember that? Well, I would caption this photo: When you can't hold up any longer, but you're still on point for the season! Little Miss Finley looks so cute in her Christmas plaid color. And she's so patient with me changing her look so often, ha, ha! Now if I could just get her to wear a hat!!
4) Glitter Curly Q's. Even though they are very hard to photograph, I love my red and green curly pics for my Christmas tree. They make me so happy! You get a big bang for your buck with these little guys. They make my tree come alive and I love the look.
Happy Wednesday everyone!
Yay ice and yay Candee’s writing skills
