2019 Week #12 Wednesday Faves

Good morning!  I am up bright and early because my sweet daughter texted me she was "on plane" at 5:45 am.  I will never get mad at my family for that text as it's our thing.  I started it years ago and now it's what we do.  I already had my Faves picked out, so here we go!

1) My current favorite nail color (for my toes) is Essie's Ballet Slippers. It's been on repeat for the last couple of months. My friend Kim says I can wear it because my feet are tan and she would look like a ghost. I'm not sure about that, but she does look really good in dark blues and teals.

2) Ugh. This one is love/hate for me. I have finally jumped on the L'ange bandwagon, and I hate that!  But, I have been using a couple of their products and I am really loving them.  If you know me, you know I have had some issues with my hair over the past year.  It's not quite back where it used to be, but it's getting so much better.  This Whip Volumizing Mousse is awesome!!  It's so creamy and does not make your hair crunchy.  If you do order from L'ange, be sure you go through one of the million ladies who promote it on Facebook.  They have serious discounts.  If you go directly to the website, most of those discounts aren't offered there.

3) I got this cute little insulated coffee mug from Francesca's (online of course) and I love it!  I take coffee every week to my allergy shot appointment so I decided to get this to use in lieu of my disposable cups.  I like it!  It's cute and keeps the coffee really hot!

4) This Fave is bittersweet to say the least.  We are putting our house on the market in a couple of weeks.  I'm pretty overwhelmed getting it "sale ready", and I know it will take awhile to sell, but I am looking forward to the new possibilities out there!  To answer your questions: we are downsizing just a bit since we are empty nesters (but still like to entertain and want room for the entire family), and we are staying in the area.  We love the proximity to the DFW airport and we don't have the luxury of moving any further out because of Walt's office location.

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone.   Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
