2019 Week #21 Wednesday Faves

So, I took a couple of weeks off of Wednesday Faves.  I decided to give myself a little grace and not sweat it.  It's been a busy month!  But, today I'm back.  My Faves this week are awesome!

1) Our Ace Hardware has this wonderful "gift" section at the front of the store and sometimes I like to wander around in there to see what I can find.  I didn't buy these cocktail napkins, but wish I had!  They crack me up and remind me of a story my friend Holly told me. On her high school girls' weekend they were watching a movie and one of her friends kept moving her arm up and down to "get more steps" on her step counter.  She could just buy a new dog or rename her current one. Ha, ha!

2) I told y'all I was loving L'Ange products and these are my current two favorites.  They make my hair feel super thick and healthy!  I just need to learn how to style my new thick and healthy hair now. If you buy these online, look for the coupons or discounts!

3) I love this Hormel meat and cheese platter.  I always have one on hand.  It's great to snack on, but last night some of Walt's friends met up here before the Ranger game and I pulled this out of the fridge and it was devoured! It's a winner!  I get it from Amazon Fresh, but one of the guys said they have it at Kroger.

4) Oh my goodness!  Last night I watched Wine Country on Netflix.  It was awesome!  When the one character "talk texted" I know if my family and friends watch they will say "Oh Lordy" because they make fun of me when I do that.  But, I'm gonna have to talk to all my girl groups (Grow Group ladies, Goddesses, and High School friends) about breaking out into harmony and dancing on a regular basis.  Why don't we do that??? Ha, ha!

Friday Faves

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone.   Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
