Wednesday Faves Week 18

Good morning! The sun is shining and Texas is going to start to slowly reopen on Friday. Not sure how I feel about that, but I feel GREAT about my Faves this week!

1) These lanterns and flameless candles. I had the lanterns inside at my old house and never really liked them all that much. When we moved I brought them to see if I could find a place for them. They look awesome on our patio and my friend Holly suggested flameless candles. I love them! They are on a remote so they are SO easy to use. Even Walt turned them on the other night.

 2) I recently started using this AlphaRet Overnight Cream and I kind of love it! It’s pricey, but it takes the place of three products I was using at night which also makes my nighttime routine quicker! Win/win!

 3) Let me introduce y’all to my new boyfriend. His name is Mr. Clean and he has this Magic Eraser that is out of this world! I have had this lying around for literally years, but wasn’t sure how to use it. My friend Donna was telling me about it, so I got it out and OH my goodness! My walls look fantastic!! Who knew?! By the way, you wet it, squeeze the excess water out and wipe down those walls. I’m so embarrassed that it’s so easy.

 4) I recently saw this must have on a cleaning blog, and she was right! Since I’ve been cleaning on my own during quarantine, I’ve been studying cleaning blogs 😂. This O-Cedar Spin Mop is the bomb! I love it! I still don’t love mopping, but this helps!

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone. There’s a little glitch with this set, so they are going to be replaced, but they still make me squeal every time I walk into the room. 4) Shut the Box Game  My family, as usual...

  Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
