  I took last week off I was in Napa. And then I was recuperating from Napa, ha, ha! 1) The Sinner Season 3 I was a hold out on this series because I just thought it would disturb me. I finally decided Season 3 looked interesting so I tried it on the plane to Napa.  It hooked me!  I finished it on the way home and enjoyed it so much I binged Season 1 last weekend.  I’ve got Season 2 downloaded for my trip to Auburn this weekend. 2) Navy Gabor Sandals Not only are these sandals comfortable, they are SO so cute! I love them! 3) Beautycounter Skincare These made the list awhile back, but they are definitely making the list again! I tried a different skincare recommendation and got a big zit that lasted for a month! I haven’t had a zit in 5+ years!   Here are this week’s Faves: 1) Shiny Gold Skull  This fun Halloween decoration has a cool story.  My dear friend, Kim, texted me (she knew not to call) from Hobby Lobby with a photo of this guy.  She said, “I thought of you!” I said, “Buy me two!” and now they grace my home during Halloween season and every time I see them I think of Kim.  Every year.  It’s awesome! 2) Rechargeable Hand Vac I saw this from a blogger I follow and it’s AWESOME for vacuuming out shoe shelves (which is the reason I bought it). I was surprised by how well it works!   I’m pretty excited about my Faves this week! 1) Puttery Mini-Golf, Cocktails and Cuisine The Puttery was so much fun!  We went there for our Grow Group Supper Club last night. Highly recommend for a double date or a game night with friends! I must say, my putting game was spot on last night! Ha! 2) Skeleton Party Guest It’s that time of year, Halloween, my FAVORITE holiday to decorate for.  I love the drama! Expect to see a Halloween item each week in my Faves.  This guy has been with us for several years and I love him! When you walk through the house and see him out of the corner of your eye you jump just a little. 3) Anthropologie Honeycrisp Oakwood This is a scent for my Pura Wall Diffuser.   Hello. Here are my Faves for the week: 1) Fancy Kitchen Faucet We have been redoing our kitchen and I went crazy over this faucet!  It’s fancy, but I love it.  Makes me happy every time I use it.  It’s the little things, I guess… 2) Kerastase Densifique Shampoo & Conditioner Kerastase does it again! I swear, I like every single thing I order from them!  This set is supposed to provide a bit of density and volume to your hair, and it truly does! It makes this old head of hair look and feel a little better! 3) Squirrel Brand Sweet Brown Butter Cashews These were a surprise find on Amazon Fresh for my stepdad’s birthday party food. These little nuts were the hit of the party!   Coming at you from home sweet home this week!  Here are my Faves: 1) Big Blue Pots  I have recently wanted to upgrade our drive up appeal and I love these new big blue pots! Hoping I can keep these babies alive… 2) Anthropologie Hand Towels I saw these in an IG ad and I’m always a sucker for leopard. A pop of color is an added bonus!  I am loving them in our powder bath! 3) Leopard Sun Hat Speaking of leopard, I am loving this leopard sun hat. After a recent basal cell removal, I have been trying to wear sunscreen and a sun hat more often (my red nose and cheeks are heat rather than sunburn), and my dear husband makes fun of my big floppy hats (one in particular he calls me Minnie Pearl), so I opted for this ball cap type hat, and he seems kind of okay with it.   I am out of town, so I’ll keep this short and sweet!  1) College Football Dog Collars (and very cute dogs) I only buy my dog collars from one place on Etsy, so when college football season comes around, the dogs rep the schools!  I either need one more dog, or a creative “house divided” collar. My gal on Etsy said she couldn’t do house divided unless I found the specific ribbon, so I guess it’s a third dog! NOT! 2) Soap Dispensers  I love these dish and hand soap dispensers. Another Etsy find (via Instagram). They are so cute and fun hanging out in my kitchen. 3) Natural Ice Cherry Chapstick I buy this stuff in bulk! I have gotten my entire family using this chapstick. It’s a perfect consistency and I have it in drawers all over my house, my purse and my travel bag.   It’s that time again: Wednesday Faves! Last week we were in Nevis and man oh man, there were some pretty awesome “Fave potentials” from there! Maybe I’ll do a whole Faves post from our trip. 1) Beautycounter Think Big All-in-One Mascara This is my current favorite mascara. It really makes my lashes look full and does not irritate my eyes at all. I am loving it! 2) Ownloop Watchband I see they now sell versions of this watchband on Amazon or at Apple, but I actually got my from the Ownloop website. A lot of watchbands bug me, especially around the clasp. This one has no clasp and slips on like a bracelet. The only downside for some people (although it does not bother me) is that I wear it so that it’s a bit looser which affects the heart rate monitor.  I just can’t stand tight watchbands. 3) Haystack Laundry Room Art I recently purchased this from Wayfair for our laundry room after we painted the cabinets.  My original inspiration was a fun loud wallpaper, but I just did...

I am on a responsible vacation this week, so no haters! But I still have some Faves. 1) Fancy Like Ok, I had this on my Faves’ list, then took it off when everyone became obsessed with it, then put it back on when my daughter Hayley told me I should…I am obsessed, stop in my tracks to watch the Applebee’s commercial when it comes on (but I still don’t think it will persuade me to try Applebee’s again). 2) Rechargeable/Portable Mister Fan This thing I LOVE! I have had it for several years, but kind of forgot about it.  I keep it in my travel backpack, it would have come in handy in Scottsdale.  I remembered before this vacay, but still forgot to pull it out and use it the first day. Oh my, yesterday we brought it to the pool and even put water in it.   Back with more Faves after a couple of weeks off. 1) Beautycounter Countermatch Sleep Recovery Cream It’s a long name, but good stuff!  I’ve been using this at nighttime and the next morning my face feels smooth and soft.  I am loving it! 2) Magnolia Home Water Garden Paint I am Gaga over this paint color!  I was looking for the perfect teal (not too blue) for my laundry room cabinets, and this is it!  I was nervous about painting the cabinets but from the first bit of color going up, I loved this color!  Makes doing laundry fun! 3) Old Navy Maxi Dress This dress is a bit of departure from what I usually wear, but I am loving it!  4) iPad Case w/Keyboard It’s early on in the game, but I am enjoying using a keyboard with my iPad. There’s something about typing on a physical keyboard, ha ha! Hope you have a great week!  I love when I stay on top of my Faves, hopefully won’t slack off going forward.

  Got some Faves for you this week! 1) Gatorade Zero Glacier Cherry Powder So yummy and hydrating! Although it spoils me and makes my not enjoy regular water as much. 2) Bath and Body Works Flannel Room Spray This is my favorite of all room sprays. BBW only makes it available in the late Summer for Fall. I go way overboard and stock up for the year. 3) Drink Table I just picked up this little drink table so the people that sit in the middle of the sectional have a place to set their drink. It’s so cute! 4) Ted Lasso No explanation necessary. Ted Lasso is greatness. I’m just sad we are all caught up! Have a great week!  

  So, last week I had a little basal cell removal procedure on my nose, so I didn’t do Faves. I highly recommend my MOHS Surgeon if you ever have that need. 1) Cold Brew Mason Jar Coffeemaker  My son is home this month studying for a very important medical exam and he wanted me to get him some iced coffee. I found this iced coffeemaker and decided to try it. He loves it! He’ll take it back to Houston and he and his roommates will get a lot of use out of it. 2) Ice Pack I had to ice my nose after my procedure and I remembered these cute little ice packs I bought a few years back from (I think) The Container Store. Hey, if ya gotta ice an injury, ya might as well be cute doing it! Oh, and an added bonus, the ice from the new ice maker was perfect in it! 3) Doterra Diffuser I love this diffuser!   These are some things I’m loving this week: 1) DIFF Sunglasses- During a BOGO, I got these two pairs of sunglasses from DIFF Eyewear. Love them both! I was hard pressed to pick just one for the Faves. My daughter prefers the bottom pair, but I like the top ones because they are so substantial! 2) Wahoo Heart Rate Monitor- Lately I’ve been working out more and wanted to check in with my heart. This arm band style heart rate monitor got great reviews and has paired seamlessly with our Peloton. It’s really helped me gauge what’s going on during my workout. Very eye opening in a good way! 3) True & Co True Body Lift V Neck Bra- This is THE most comfortable bra! I only have two slight, ever so slight cons: the straps are a little wide, so they may show with certain tops, and sometimes I think it’s a little hot. Those are minor issues and I love this bra! 4) Furry Throw- I have tried many many throw blankets for our family room. I love these because they are furry, the perfect size...

Here is what I am loving this week: 1) Dr. Teal’s Glow & Radiance This bubble bath smells so good and is very bubbly! I love it! 2) GE Profile “Sonic” Icemaker I purchased this during Amazon Prime Deal Days. It’s kind of pricey, but all of the bloggers I follow rave about it. I’m liking it so far, once we understood how to use it. At first it was making this horrible noise and I thought: Oh boy. Waste of money. But as long as it has water in it all the time it seems to be happy.  3) Old Navy Maxi Dress This dress is saving me this summer! It’s cute and cool and comfy! I wish they’d restock in some other colors, but they are probably about to come out with Fall clothes 🥵 … 4) Young Living Aria Difuser While it is super pricey, I am in love! I have been wanting it for a long long time and finally pulled the trigger.   Got some house vibe Faves today! 1) This is my favorite bench ever. We have four of them in our house (two are grey). We have used them for coffee tables, at the end of beds, and most recently I moved this one into our closet. Walt commented that he really liked having it in there. I would have to agree. It’s not super wide (but wide enough that my 73 lb dog can fit comfortably on it) and it fits perfectly in our closet. 2) This robot vac is always a Fave! I love this thing. It is so satisfying emptying out the dust bin! And right now, with this heat, my one dog is shedding like crazy so I run the vacuum at least every other day. I get to empty the dust bin a LOT! 3) I have been on a merry go round of rugs for the family room, to the point where my family keeps saying: is that another new rug?   I can’t believe it, but I’m actually on my Faves game this week! 1) I know everyone is sick of Peloton, but I love it for so many reasons! This weekend, while visiting friends in Longview, I did not have access to the bike so I did Peloton Strength or Yoga Classes each morning in my room. As my friend says: Gotta get my blue dot every day! 2) We played this game, Sequence , this weekend. It was so much fun (even though we were exhausted because we stayed up VERY late and the guys were playing in a golf tournament)! 3) I am all about a good smelling house! Found a new diffuser scent called Dream On  and similar to the scent found in the Westin Hotels, and I love it!   Took the week off while in Scottsdale, but I took away several Faves from there! 1) I am SO excited about this Fave: I got to meet the Loon! I follow this food blog called howtofeedaloon  after I found their best chicken salad recipe ever, and last night, while out eating with the Cynthias, I saw them walking up to our restaurant! I started saying: It’s the Loons! It’s the Loons! One of the Cynthias waved to them for me (she knew I wanted to) and they came over and talked with us! Super nice guys, one is an awesome cook and the other one (the Loon) an awesome photographer! (And they live in the same neighborhood as Cynthia) Seriously, their recipes and food photography are both SO good!  2) This Byredo Le Chemin   body lotion   from the Phoenician was yummy!   How about some Faves! It’s all about the home vibes this week. 1) I love the YouTube scenery and music on my TV. The other day I turned on this Coral Reef Aquarium  as we were going to dinner. You can hear the water bubbling like a real aquarium. Walt loves it! I told my friend Cynthia about it and she loves it too!  2) I got a new Kitchen faucet . It’s super nice, I love it! 3) I have been really enjoying our Patio sofas . Finally comfy seating for watching TV or enjoying a glass of wine with friends.  4) I recently went to the tile store for some kitchen tile, but this tile  for the bathroom stopped me in my tracks. I love it! I’m not an all white kitchen or bath person. I love a bit of variety, so I love this! Are you having home vibes this Spring?

  Happy Friday! I’m heading into the weekend with some Faves that make me happy! 1) For my birthday I received some money from my mother in law and I bought these Home Depot pots  for my patio. Aren’t they beautiful? 2) Who does not love Jergens Original Scent Lotion ? I do think the formula is better now, and I’m happy about that because I have always loved that scent! 3) I am loving this Go-To Top  from Cabi. It’s a bit of a departure from what I usually choose, but I’m glad I took the chance! I get so many compliments when I wear it, I don’t know if it’s the color or the style, but it is a great shirt! 4) I am obsessed with my new light fixture  above my breakfast table.   So, I skipped last week as the birthday celebrations kept me quite busy. This week you get Faves from an older woman: me. 1) These lightbulbs  have changed the vibe in and around our home! When we moved in almost two years ago, all the lightbulbs in our house were the LED Daylight bulbs. I felt like we lived in a warehouse or research lab. I was afraid it would cost a small fortune to change them all out. LED lights have come down in price, thank goodness, so I did some research and changed them out. I’m not quite finished, but the transformation has been wonderful, and so worth it! 2) This Fire Coffee Table  makes my heart sing! I love love love it! I did change out the lava rocks that came with it for clear glass to match our fire dining table, and it looks so good! 3) Do any of y’all have one of these As Seen on TV Grabber Thingies ?   Better late than never!  1) Yes, yes, I’m really posting a Probiotic . I’m not shy about it. It has really helped me. Highly recommend! 2) Newk’s   for the win! I thought I had a nail appt yesterday (thus the different colored thumbnail) but they didn’t have me down and asked if I could come back in an hour. I didn’t really want to go home, and I had been wanting to go to Newk’s ever since I went with Hudson back at Auburn. So I walked down from the nail place and had a delicious lunch and encountered some very friendly people. Made waiting an hour for my nails fly by! 3) I am loving  AT&T TV ! My stepdad has been playing heck trying to watch TV in his condo. He was used to Direct TV with the individual boxes and that was not an option when he moved. We finally settled him in with AT&T TV.   So, I tried to do Wednesday Faves on Wednesday, but it seems I’m more consistent with Wednesday-ish. Or Friday. 😂 1) Of course the Baylor Men’s Basketball  gets a Fave nod two weeks in a row! They are National Champs! They are so good! Sic ‘Em!  2) I love my Crate & Barrel Velvet Comforter . I call it, “Elvis in Hollywood”, and I love it! It’s SO yummy. My sassy husband says (with grand arm motions): It like envelops you, and wraps around you! Ok, Walt. 😂 3) I am obsessed with Buying Alaska , and aforementioned sassy husband tells people: Ask her about her plans for moving to Alaska...who know?!   I love it when I actually do my Wednesday Faves on Wednesday! I almost dedicated this week’s Faves to people, and I may do just that in the next few weeks, but for now we are going to go with these! 1) Can you spy that tiny little pill cup  in the center of my photo? I believe it was cut from a bottle. While it is supposed to hold soy sauce (or something of the like), I am using it as a hack for a pill cup. I take two pills first thing in the morning, and this little idea has actually changed my morning (and my attitude). I put the two pills in the cup at bedtime so I don’t even have to think about it in the morning. I know, it kind of sounds silly, but it has been game changing! (And I’m not even embarrassed about it!) No more mix ups or totally forgetting to take my pills. Try it! 2) I love these Summersalt The Do-It-All High Rise 7/8 Leggings !   Here we go, let’s do some weekly Faves. 1) First up is the Pura Diffuser . I have 5 of these all over the house. I can’t really do candles anymore (they sadly sting my eyes), so I’ve been using these. I LOVE that they are controlled from my phone, so I can set them while I’m away and come home to a great smelling house. I can also set up a schedule for them. The only “con” if you will, is that I haven’t found “my scent”. I’m quite picky with smells, and I’d love to find something similar to The Hotel scent I diffuse in regular diffusers. It smells so good. They do have the popular Volcano candle scent. I’ll find “my scent” eventually, and then it will be perfection! 2) Here we go again with another Beautycounter product. This time it’s the All Bright C Serum . Not only is the bottle bright and happy, but it brightens my skin as well. Someone once told me that consistency with your Vitamin C serum is what yields results, and I really do believe that. This one is a winner in my boo...

  This week I wanted to reflect on my momma. She gave me innumerable Faves, but I picked out a few that are current Faves.  1) I’m pretty sure my mom’s favorite color was Gold . The more the better! I, too, love gold. So, this week I got gold nails as a subtle nod to her. I think she would love them! 2) Cold Chicken Rice Pilaf Salad  is a recipe my mom gave me years ago. It is a favorite in our house. I have made it several times during the Pandemic. It’s wonderful to have on hand for Walt’s work from home lunch hours. I made some for my stepdad last week and he loved it as well! Thank you mom for this great recipe that serves so many! 3) I love lotions! I have a lot of favorites, but Vaseline Intensive Care (Original Yellow Bottle)  is always at the top of the list. My mom used this lotion as long as I could remember. Every time I use it I think of her.  4) My Leopard Ugg’s  were a gift from my mom a couple of Christmases ago. Still love them on cold cozy ...

  Let’s get right to it! 1) I am loving this whole Beautycounter Countermatch Set ! Like the whole set! I got suckered in on FB, but I love it! 2) I have been using this Twill Boat Storage and Laundry Tote  for years. It has transported things to and from college, on road trips, and lately back and forth to my mom and stepdad’s condo. I have gifted these, and accumulated several. Hands down the best! 3) The good ol’ Happy Planner . I have tried many, many planners. This one is simple and perfect for me! 4) I told y’all I love Kerastase!   I feel like I have a LOT of lemonade sitting around from all of the lemons life has been giving us lately. But, I’m not going to complain. We’re all in this together, and I am grateful for so much.  1) I know the last time I shared a hack some of y’all loved it! So just wait til you hear about this hack for my Keurig with these felt furniture pads . I’d give credit for it, but I can’t remember where on IG I saw it. If you stick felt pads underneath your Keurig it slides back and forth on the counter easily (like it’s on a pull out shelf). Slide it out when using it or filling it with water, and slide it back when not in use. I did this to both of our Keurigs and it is FANTASTIC. It’s the little things... 2) I am an excellent grilled cheese maker. I thought it was because of my secret ingredient (Havarti cheese), but now I think it’s my skills. Today is a good day. Oh sure, there are things I could complain about, be down about, but I’d rather concentrate on the good things! The little things. And these little Faves make my days better! 1) I told y’all last week that I am LOVING the Kerastase brand of hair care. This week I am gushing over this Shampoo and Conditioner  from the Resistance line (I love it so much I even used my “cutting the tube” hack to get every last drop of the conditioner). I had a hair appt yesterday and my hairdresser said: I am SO pleased with your hair! It looks the healthiest it has looked since you started coming to me a year and a half ago. Woo Hoo! I still have quite a ways to go, but that was a ringing endorsement for me!  2) I love this scrunchie watchband from ANDI . It’s so comfortable. Sometimes the silicone watchbands irritate my skin (especially when working out). This one never irritates my skin. 3) Most mornings I drink one cup of coffee. I’m trying to be consistent about Faves, despite some challenges. In our area, we have been relatively lucky. We have been on “regular interval” rolling blackouts for the most part. Last night (Wednesday) was our longest blackout from 6:10 pm til 10:49 pm. Frozen pizza was no longer an option, but Mac N Cheese to the rescue!!  1) The Tiger Documentary  on HBO was very interesting. I felt sad for Tiger, then found myself rooting for him by the end.  2) I have been loving this  Modere Liquid Collagen . My hair feels thicker. A blogger I follow raved about it and she was not wrong! 3) While I am addicted to the Kerastase hair products, this Relaxing Scrub  is beyond awesome! I was a little concerned about using it because it does look like an exfoliating scrub, but it made my hair feel amazing! It felt completely different and very healthy after I used it. I plan on only using it once a month (it is pricey but should last forever), I love it!! 4) My trusty Labelmak...
