Friday Faves

 Last week I was in the Bahamas for the Interstate Battery Convention ‘22 so I didn’t do Faves. I thought about it later and should have let my daughter Hayley or one of my friends write a post about their Faves. Next time! I’m currently in Nashville, but Walt and Hudson are off playing golf so I decided to post my Faves real quick.


1) Soleil Toujours Sunscreen I received this in a gift basket in April. I normally don’t care for spray sunscreens, but this one is really good. It has a nice consistency. It’s kind of hard to find, but worth it if you can!

2) Danny Gokey I posted about him last weekend, but he truly is an amazing person. He was so kind when I met him, he has an amazing testimony and outlook on life through the lens of faith. His voice is amazing, and his stage presence just makes you smile! Way to go, birthday buddy! Yes, I said amazing three times, but all are warranted.

3) Hold Tight This is a limited series on Netflix. It’s set in Poland (and the neighborhoods in this series are so cool, I wanna live there!) and based on a book by Harlan Coben. I really enjoyed this. It may not be for everyone, but I liked it!

4) iPad Keyboard Case I got a new keyboard case for my iPad and I love it! I like that it’s white and the keyboard lights up (you can choose the color). It’s easy to use, feels like a mini computer. Oh, and the iPad spins around 360 degrees.

I hope you have a great weekend! I will be enjoying last minute time with Hudson before his residency begins next week. I can hardly believe it!

Friday Faves

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone. There’s a little glitch with this set, so they are going to be replaced, but they still make me squeal every time I walk into the room. 4) Shut the Box Game  My family, as usual...

  Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
