Friday Faves

 Fancy meeting you here! I feel like it was just yesterday (errr, the day before) that I was posting Faves.


1) BuDhaGirl All Weather Bangles I first discovered these when a friend of mine wore the gold ones to the beach. I own the gold ones, and I love gold jewelry, but never really liked them on me. So I got a silver set and let me tell you, they have been to both the Bahamas and Cabo this year! I love them! Just needed to find the right color for me. I’ve been trying to up my bracelet game, and was able to wear these all day in the pool last week.

2) Dior Airflash Spray Foundation My niece, Martha, turned me onto this. It’s weird at first because you spray it on a brush, then brush it on. The only thing I don’t love, I have to be careful not to get too crazy while spraying because I don’t want the foundation to get on anything else. Placing a Kleenex in the sink and spraying over it seems to do the trick. I don’t wear foundation everyday, but I am loving this when I do.

3) Bioessance Squalane+Vitamin C Rose Oil I got this in a set by Reese Witherspoon and didn’t use it at first, just set it aside. I was reading an article on Vitamin C and this was listed as a good one. I remembered that I had it, so I gave it a try. I really really like it! I think it is going to replace the more expensive Vitamin C serum I have used for the past couple of years. It’s not cheap, but seems like it will last a long time.

4) Expandable Garden Hose w/10 Function Nozzle Who would think a garden hose could make me happy, but this one does! It expands when the water turns on and contracts when the water is off so it’s easy to schlep all over the patio to water my pots. I turn the nozzle to “shower” and give my new plants a drink. I also love the blue color!

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone. There’s a little glitch with this set, so they are going to be replaced, but they still make me squeal every time I walk into the room. 4) Shut the Box Game  My family, as usual...

  Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
