Post Cruise Faves
Since I had too much fun on my cruise to think about Faves, I missed two Fridays. I decided to do a post cruise Faves post.
1) Regent Seven Seas Cruise Line Since our first exposure to Regent, in 2016, an Alaskan Cruise with the family celebrating my stepfather’s 80th birthday, we will only cruise on Regent. This was our fourth Regent cruise, and we sailed on their newest ship, SS Splendor. For 12 days we were pampered and spoiled by the nicest people, met some fun new people/characters, and traveled to bucket list places: England, Norway, Latvia, Estonia, Finland and Sweden. I’m excited to say we have two more Regent Cruises planned!
2) Apple Air Tags I’m sure you’ve heard of these, my friend Stan recommended them to me back in February. A couple of months later I purchased a set of 4. I have three of them in suitcases and one of them on one of my dogs. It was so reassuring having them on this trip. From flight cancellations to the previous trouble London Heathrow had with luggage, I was able to pull them up on my phone and see “with you” or “located at Heathrow” or “located at Terminal D”, etc. Arriving back to Dallas and seeing our luggage had made it before it even came out was so so wonderful! Highly recommend!
3) Revisions Intellishade Original I love this stuff! I don’t wear foundation very often, so Intellishade Original is my go to.
4) Netflix Netflix is my go to for downloading series to watch when I travel. On my most recent trip, I watched Lies & Deceit, WeCrashed, and Seven Seconds. I enjoyed them all for the most part. WeCrashed was pretty weird, and ironically, the hotel we stayed in while in London was a across the street from a WeWork. Both Lies & Deceit and Seven Seconds had characters I did NOT like, but I guess that’s what makes them good series, they draw you in by tugging at all of your emotions. I was disappointed in the way Seven Seconds ended, but we don’t really get life packaged up with a beautiful bow on top. And that’s okay…life is still beautiful (sorry, got a little deep there for a minute). I do think all three are worth a watch!
I’ll be back this Friday with more Faves. I felt like I was gone forever! It’s funny, I really enjoyed being gone and didn’t start missing home until we were getting close to making the journey back. It feels good to be getting back into the routine (except for the crown replacement I have to get tomorrow, and it’s not the beautiful crown that sits on top of my head). Now if I could just get my sleep schedule back to normal…
