Friday Faves

 Here are my Faves I have been loving this week:


1) Fluffy Checkered Blanket I loved, and gave, the black and white checkered blankets for Christmas gifts, but decided I wanted to find maybe a blue and white version for myself. I love these! I love the bigger checks and the blue color for my family room.  My gift recipients, Corinne, Hayley and CJ love their black and white ones. Makes my heart happy! (The dog is my fave too!)

2) Bold Vase Art from ZGallerie First of all, I have been LOVING ZGallerie lately (online of course). This artwork is what I didn’t know my bathroom needed, but I love seeing it every time I walk in. And, it’s on sale! It’s a series of 4, but I only have 2 of them.

3) Redee No-Glow Patches Whenever I have even one sip of alcohol my neck and cheeks turn red and get quite warm. It eventually settles down, but I hate it. I didn’t know it was actually a thing that happens to a lot of people, so much so, that someone came up with a darned good solution! Once again, IG got me, and I bit, but these really work! You place two patches on your upper body 30-60 minutes before you have a drink and no red glow! I love them if I am going to be going out. 

4) Handmade Tufted Wool Rug I got this rug for our family room and I love it! Walt loves that it’s thick and sturdy, and once I convinced him it grounds the room and makes it feel so homey, ha, ha, he’s starting to love the way it looks too.

Wanted to give a quick update on my auto sensor rechargeable lights in the bathrooms from last week. Walt loves them! He made a point of telling me so. I still haven’t charged them and they are going strong, 1 1/2 weeks and counting!

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone. There’s a little glitch with this set, so they are going to be replaced, but they still make me squeal every time I walk into the room. 4) Shut the Box Game  My family, as usual...

  Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
