Wednesday Faves Week #37

It's Wednesday!  It's rainy!  Let's get right to it:

1) Liquid Sunshine.  Although I have been using my Three Drops of Life water bottle non stop, I decided this week was a good time to pull out this Liquid Sunshine cup.  It's bright colors make me happy on these rainy days!  I purchased it on a whim (I needed it like I need a hole in the head) while on my trip to Oregon.  I love it!

2) She's My Sweet Potato. I Yam.  I am obsessed with these shirts!  I think Walt and I need them in our lives.  I'm not sure we could rock them quite like these cuties do, but I would be willing to try.  Walt?

3) Meal prep.  I love meal prepping my lunches!  It makes me feel so accomplished and together.  When I meal prep lunches and don't have to think about what to eat I not only save money, but I eat better!  I also LOVE these containers.  They are glass with a plastic lid and the perfect size.

4) Flannel Room Spray.  So, many of you know, Flannel is my favorite all time candle scent from Bath and Body Works (I do love Pure White Cotton for the summer months though...).  I recently discovered that they make Flannel in room spray as well, and I love, love, love it!  It smells so good!  I stocked up at the last sale since BBW only carry certain scents at certain times of the year.  I do not want to run out of this stuff.

Hope you find some sunshine, liquid or otherwise, today!  This is my son Hudson's first year in Houston and his advisors at the med school told them some supplies to keep on hand in case the weather takes a turn for the worse.  That's a little scary for this momma to hear, but I'm glad he's kept informed!

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone.   Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
