Wednesday Faves Week #39
Good morning. So, I'm going to be honest with you: I'm kind of cranky this morning. This rain. Where did it come from? I loaned my car to my son today and had plans to walk all over Coppell, to my Pure Barre class, and my hair appointment, etc. When it rains it pours (pun intended), as several other little annoyances seem to be knocking at my door. I gotta get a grip and I definitely need to take my own advice and listen to #1 on repeat. Ironically, or maybe not, I picked my Faves yesterday, before my grumpy day and attitude began!
1) joy. I love this song by for King & Country. When I listened to it for this blog entry, I watched the video. It's pretty good too! But, you need to listen to this song! You may start dancing around like you are in The Greatest Showman (I actually had to go and check to be sure this song wasn't on the soundtrack), but hopefully, you'll listen to the words. It's so simple: choose joy. Good stuff!
2)The Resident. We are obsessed with this show! Conrad and Devin are our favorite characters (Devin might be our very favorite). Season 2 premiered on Monday, but we haven't watched it yet. We are watching the Season 1 finale and the Season 2 premiere tonight. I'm very excited! We have been watching through FoxNow on the Roku, but the episodes have all expired. My friend said you can pay to watch them on Vudo. I have not tried this. I'm not too sure about the doctor played by "Theo Huxtable"...he's kind of annoying.
3) Pill Organizer. I have finally crossed over into the world of supplements. Blehhhh. Do not look too close and cast judgment that several of my supplements are gummies. I HATE taking pills! I love these pill organizers though. I just pull out the day, and leave it on the kitchen counter to ensure I've taken all of the supplements I need to for the day. Since I have two, I sit down every other Sunday night and fill them up (while watching TV) and I'm good to go for two weeks! I wish I had such a good system for my mail sorting!
4) Tapping Witch. I love this little lady! The first year I placed her in the powder bath window and didn't tell anyone. After several frightened screams from guests, and in anticipation of a work dinner we were hosting, my husband made me warn people. This week I put her back in the window and Walt said, "Dang it! She got me again!" Her presence is startling enough when you aren't paying attention, but then she randomly taps on the glass. Ha, ha! I just love her!
Happy Wednesday! Talking about my Faves has me feeling better already. Thanks y'all!
