Wednesday Faves Week #32

Good morning!  I woke up very early, but I had all of my Faves picked out yesterday so I decided to get them to you first thing!

1) I love this song, Have It All, by Jason Mraz.  I honestly don't think you can listen to it and not feel happy, feel your cares melt away, and put a spring in your step.  As a matter of fact, I watched the video and listened to the song just before writing this post, and I think I set the tone for a really good day!  If you haven't heard it, I encourage you to listen to it today and perhaps even watch the video.

2) I am blown away (no pun intended, ha, ha!) by this hair dryer.  I'm not going to lie, it is expensive!  A little back story: For several months I have been struggling with thinning hair.  I think things are turning around now, but I have been willing to spend more money on things for my hair to try and get things turned around. I had wanted to try the Dyson hair dryer everyone is raving about, but it is $399!  I said, NO WAY.  This Drybar Buttercup hair dryer is about half that, so still pricey, but I wanted to give it a try.  Y'all, yesterday I was running late for an appointment (story of my life), so I just quickly used this dryer for the first time to get my hair dry.  I can't tell you how wonderful my hair felt after I finished.  Thick and full.  How can this be?  I mean, it's just a little machine that blows out air...can different hair dryers really make a difference?  This one sure did!  Now I'm anxious to spend some time using a round brush with it to dry/style my hair.

3) I am loving this chocolate flavored Muscle Milk and I've never even tasted it, ha, ha!  A friend had recommended another ready made protein shake that my husband really liked.  When he had his appointment at the Cooper Clinic, the nutritionist told him that the particular shake he was drinking was kind of a waste (and it was super expensive) because it had more protein in it than his body could use at one time.  So I began searching for a more cost effective ready made protein shake with a bit less protein than the current one.  Enter Muscle Milk.  Walt loves the way it tastes, the amount of protein in it, the cost, and the convenience of ready made.  And THAT'S why it's one of my Faves!

4) I want to see the benefits of essential oils, I really do.  So I asked my friend, Donna, what were her favorite oils and uses for those oils.  She said hands down her favorite oil is Peppermint.  She sent me some information on uses for Peppermint Oil and I, ironically, read this while in the allergist office for my allergy shots:

I circled the part in green and sent it back to her saying, "Ummmm, she reads this while she's sitting in the allergist's office..." So, I did some research online for oils for allergies and found the concoction of Lemon, Lavender, and Peppermint which I will be diffusing for the next several days and nights.  Fingers crossed that maybe this will work!  It smells good, that's for sure.

Have a wonderful day!  I hope you "Have It All"! ;)
