Wednesday Faves Week #34
Good morning! What a week! I so enjoyed my vacation this past week! As a matter of fact, it's one of my faves, so I'll get right to it!
1) I love cruises! And, I love Regent Cruises...they have spoiled me. They are a little pricey, but I think don't think I'll ever cruise a different cruise line. I am so happy the entire time I am on board. I love sleeping at night with the boat rocking. The food was fantastic, and cruising Alaska was beyond spectacular! It was so beautiful and its the one place that I enjoy hearing it's history. Go figure.
2) I'm seriously digging my new laptop cover. I like the way it feels, and it blends in with my decor (ha, ha, like that really matters) and I love it! It looks like marble.
3) My friend Susan posted this on Facebook, a good friend of hers, Lori, sent it to her. It's from a devotion book by Christine Caine. I heard Christine speak at Gateway, and she is so inspiring. When I saw this on Facebook, I immediately screenshotted it and sent it to each of my kids. I felt like it would speak to each of them even though they are in completely different places. And it did! I know it spoke to me! I love that my youngest, Hudson, felt it would speak to one of his med school buddies who has been particularly overwhelmed this past week. Pass it on!
4) I realize I posted a hairdryer a couple of weeks back, but y'all...I love this Revlon All In One Dryer and Styler. I stumbled upon it by accident. I was looking for a particular post on an acquaintance's Facebook page and had to scroll back a bit. She had posted about this in the middle of the night because she thought it was so great she couldn't wait until morning! I have been having so much trouble with my hair lately that I ordered it immediately. Y'all, she was right! It is so great. It takes me about 10 minutes to go from wet hair to styled hair and I am able to give my hair a rest from my flat iron (trying to get my hair healthy). I highly recommend this! It takes NO skill, ha, ha!
I am off to tackle a HUGE mound of laundry, and try to get our refrigerator repaired. I guess on the positive side, it will be refreshing to start over....we lost EVERYTHING in our fridge and freezer, but a lot of it needed to go. I hadn't anticipated on it going quite that way, but what can you do? Welcome home to us.
