Wednesday Faves Week 4

Good morning! Got some Wednesday Faves to share with you today. 
 
1) CraftWay Kitchen, I love this place! I have been there twice now, and while I have to admit, the food was better the first time, it was really good both times. Even more impressive than the food, is the customer service! Both times they did something a little special, above and beyond. The first time we had trouble deciding on an appetizer, we finally picked fried asparagus. Delish. The server brought out a tasting of the two we didn’t choose “on her”. Then, my husband ordered a beer, but they had to change out the tap so they brought him another one to sample while he waited.  This past Friday it was super crowded, but halfway through my Pineapple martini the server, unsolicited, brought a frozen empty glass and put the rest of my drink in it so it would be cold til the very end. Very impressive customer service! Very cool place.

 2) I Should Have Known That! is a fun trivia game. You don’t have to be the smartest person in the room to win, but you do need to take chances and be confident in your answers. Sometimes I play it too safe...

 3) They call these Pyrex Custard Cups, but I’ve never used them for custard. As a matter of fact, I’ve never even made custard! I use them all the time though. I hold different ingredients for my recipes in them (like I have my own cooking show or something, ha ha!) 

 4) Oreo’s latest ad campaign is awesome! It features Becky G and her family. I love it! It makes me smile. I THINK you should be able to click this link to see it: https://youtu.be/SIUxtdzzyoY  I have tried and tried to upload the video, but haven’t figured it out yet. Early last year Oreo featured Wiz Khalefa and his son Sebastian in a commercial. It was super cute too. Good job Oreo! Keep it up!

Friday Faves

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone. There’s a little glitch with this set, so they are going to be replaced, but they still make me squeal every time I walk into the room. 4) Shut the Box Game  My family, as usual...

  Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! I purchased this specifically for my trip to wear on tours/excursions, and I loved it! It has two zippered compartm...

Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
