Hello! I’m back! We have had a very busy summer, but we are in our new home and things are getting back to normal slowly but surely. 1) I love this toy of Finley’s because she loves it so much! We got it from the Ace Hardware in Coppell, and she carries it all over the house and wraps it around her nose! 2) I love my water glass! I wanted another one to match my house, ha, ha, but the lady has disappeared from Etsy! 3) I love my new kitchen island! I fold clothes there and can’t wait to wrap Christmas gifts! I’m pretty sure a full sized mattress would fit up there’s! 4) Just got this robot vacuum today. Thanks Cynthia for putting a bug in my ear. I love it! And the dogs are doing pretty good with it! It is definitely helping. Have a great week!

This week’s Faves were pretty easy! 1) Since our luggage didn’t arrive right away in Milwaukee, we stopped off at Walgreens for some emergency toiletries. I got this mascara and I LOVE it! And it’s a lot cheaper than the mascara I had been using. It’s a keeper! 2) At the Kohler Spa I got a facial (maybe one of the best I’ve ever had) and the lady used/recommended these products for me. I LOVE them! Meet my new skincare routine! 3) I just LOVE these blingy slides! 4) We got new nightstands and they made my Faves list because of how much my husband loves the charging feature.  The nightstands plug into the wall and the chargers plug into the top drawer. So I keep my watch and phone charging in the drawer at night. It keeps my nightstand clutter free. Have a great Wednesday! I’m off and running!

It’s Wednesday Faves time!! I’m super tired, but wanted to get these out! 1) My Pure Barre family. Who would have thought I would have done something 250 times?! And who would have thought I would have met such an amazing group of friends/teachers/encouragers... 2) Dead to Me on Netflix. This was recommended to me by all my kids (they know me well) and a couple of friends.  It was really GOOD! 3) These beautiful flowers from my Pure Barre friend, Linda Creme. She got them from Market Street. I know where my next flowers are coming from! 4) Kohler Water Spa. I got a facial and at the end she put on these Jane Iredale products: a loose powder and this setting spray. I got compliments from my traveling buddies and immediately ordered them.  I have used them all week and love them. Have a great Wednesday!

So, I took a couple of weeks off of Wednesday Faves.  I decided to give myself a little grace and not sweat it.  It's been a busy month!  But, today I'm back.  My Faves this week are awesome! 1) Our Ace Hardware has this wonderful "gift" section at the front of the store and sometimes I like to wander around in there to see what I can find.  I didn't buy these cocktail napkins, but wish I had!  They crack me up and remind me of a story my friend Holly told me. On her high school girls' weekend they were watching a movie and one of her friends kept moving her arm up and down to "get more steps" on her step counter.  She could just buy a new dog or rename her current one. Ha, ha! 2) I told y'all I was loving L'Ange products and these are my current two favorites.  They make my hair feel super thick and healthy!  I just need to learn how to style my new thick and healthy hair now. I am up super early this morning to do my Faves.  I have a very busy day, although I'm already feeling sleepy...ha, ha! 1) I change my sheets every Monday.  I love walking in the room early in the afternoon and seeing that I've already completed the task for the day!  We have a Tempurpedic bed and changing its sheets is not for the faint of heart...its tough work.  When I get it done early in the day, it sets the tone for a good day! 2) Way back in 2015, my daughter was days from graduating from the University of Arkansas, and I posted this on Facebook.  When it showed up as my memory yesterday, Hayley sent it to me.  Neither of us know where she got this quote from originally, but man, it is SUPER applicable in both of our lives right now:  Don't let the pursuit of happiness become the source of unhappiness. Wow. 3) My friend Cynthia got me to download this fun little app.  It's back and forth video recordings with people....

One good thing about all of the rain overnight: it makes for a quiet morning!  Which in turn means timely Wednesday Faves... 1) My friend Donna told me about this stuff and it is REALLY good!  PB2 with chocolate is a powder that you mix with water.  Add some sliced banana and YUM! 2) My friend Amanda shared this on Facebook and it just cracked me up!  3) This is MY new folio case for my phone.  I am really liking it!  It's Marc Jacobs.  It does take a little bit to get used to, but I took it off and missed it! Wednesday Faves are here! 1) As an Office lover and having seen this scenario with my children many times, I thought this was funny!!  Ellen Degeneres posted this on Instagram.  I sent it to one of my kids and they said: Too relatable! 2) Grow Group Game Night makes the Faves' list again!! It's ALWAYS a fun time, our party hostesses see to that!  Last night we played a game called Smart Ass.  We will definitely be playing it again!  I even won a prize!!  Woo Hoo! 3) I was given this watch as a gift a couple of months ago, and it just came in yesterday!  I love it!  I used to wear the smaller watch (thinking the large one wouldn't look right), but I really wanted the large one (I was given the option of large or small).  I am really loving this larger one, and the band is pretty awesome too!  Thank you, thank you, thank you! 4) I had been eyeing FabFitFun for awhile, and I decided, I'm going to give it a try.  I go...

Well, as promised, Wednesday Faves are here.  Doubling up this week with two weeks' worth of Faves... Week #13 1) Miss Finley is always one of my Faves.  I just have to throw her in the mix ever so often.  2) I think this Billy Idol meme (is it a meme?) is SO funny!  You know if you are a fan of 80's music you just sang this out loud!! 3) I do not yet own this, but I love it and plan on finding a place for it in our new guest room/bath after we sell our house. 4) When life is stressful and chaotic, sometimes a good ol' Coke is all that will do. Good morning!  I am up bright and early because my sweet daughter texted me she was "on plane" at 5:45 am.  I will never get mad at my family for that text as it's our thing.  I started it years ago and now it's what we do.  I already had my Faves picked out, so here we go! 1) My current favorite nail color (for my toes) is Essie's Ballet Slippers. It's been on repeat for the last couple of months. My friend Kim says I can wear it because my feet are tan and she would look like a ghost. I'm not sure about that, but she does look really good in dark blues and teals. 2) Ugh. This one is love/hate for me. I have finally jumped on the L'ange bandwagon, and I hate that!  But, I have been using a couple of their products and I am really loving them.  If you know me, you know I have had some issues with my hair over the past year.  It's not quite back where it used to be, but it's getting so much better.  This Whip Volumizing Mousse is awes...

Here are my Faves for this rainy, soggy Wednesday: 1) I found this new lip stuff after I got back from Cabo.  I have been using the same chapstick for years, in fact, I think I own stock in the company!  But, it stopped working for me, my lips almost felt more chapped.  I found this Neutrogena Overnight Lip Therapy on Amazon.  The reviews were great so I gave it a try.  It worked!  In just one day my lips felt so much more hydrated. 2) This guy, Gerald Knight.  He passed away suddenly on Sunday, and I deeply regret not telling him that he was one of my Faves while I had the chance.  He's Walt's cousin who lived in Auburn.  He was so good to Hudson while he was in school there, so good to all of us.  He was kind, funny, and just about the best guy you could ever know.  He is missed terribly, and is truly one of my Faves. 3) I've been on the diffuser craze lately, and I love this one because of its fancy lights! ...

Good morning!  It's Week #10 of 2019...crazy! 1) I love these little furry pillows from Pottery Barn on my bed.  Every morning when I make the bed I say to myself, "They are just so cute!" 2) Loving these new bedside diffusers!  While some diffusers are kind of eye sores, these look like candles, even down to the flickering of the light.  They come with remote controls so you can turn the light off when you sleep, and it is easy to remove the water reservoir for filling.  All in all, good purchase!   3) I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I love my projection clock!  Especially when it's so cold, I can stay under my covers, look at the ceiling and see how much longer I get to stay in bed! 4) I have had these furniture moving pads for years and I love them!  They protect my floors, make it SO easy to move any furniture, and BONUS: It sweeps up dog hair along the way, yikes! It's nice to be back in town!  I had a wonderful time in Cabo though.  So much laughter!  Here are my Faves for this week: 1) I love Downy Unstoppables!  This is my current favorite "flavor": Outdoor Fresh.  All of my clothes smelled so fresh when I pulled them out of the suitcase in Cabo.  I couldn't wait to get back home to refresh them! 2) Although I'm technically not reading in 2019, I am picking up a book every now and then and savoring it before I rush on to the next one.  This book was pretty darned good!  Definitely a Fave for the week. It was a unique plot and very psychological-ish.  Messed with your head!  I highly recommend it. Ha, ha! 3) Last night I attended a Faves Party with my Grow Group girlies and it is definitely a Fave!  Have you ever been to one of these?  You bring three of one of your Faves and you take home 3 Faves from others.  I think we should do this several times a year except I...

A little late in posting, but Cabo is my excuse!  And, it's also where all of my Faves come from this week. 1) First up are these fun adorable hats.  I got them for the girls' trip, and they suited us perfectly!  Amazon had a ton more sentiments, it was so hard to choose.  When I brought them out, Cynthia and Elizabeth both chose the ones I had chosen for them and I was left with the one I was hoping for!  If they get floppy you just wet them and lay them out flat and they are good to go again! 2) This one may be TMI, but just keepin' it real folks.  This was in our bathroom and as my hubs said, it's a great alternative to sprays.  Just sayin', it eliminated any odors, not just covered them up.  (Ha, ha, do you ever see tampon commercials or other embarrassing things and think: I would never want to do that commercial!? Well, I guess this is similar, but it's my PSA for the day. You're welcome.) 3) I love this hairdryer in our resor...

This post is going to be short and sweet as I have bronchitis and don't feel too good.  But I do love these Faves!  I hope you will too. 1) I love this little pot so much!  I saw it on Pinterest and had to have it.  Everytime I walk into the kitchen I channel my best Al Pacino and smile! 2) I love these K-Cup holders.  If you know me, you know I change things up a lot.  I have had these K-Cup holders for over 6 years and I still love them everyday.  They are perfect! 3) While stuck in bed on Saturday, I binge watched this Amazon Prime series Thirteen.  It was really good and interesting. I watched the whole thing! 4) One of my friends gave me this cup and swore me to secrecy, she didn't want her other friend groups getting jealous.  Ha, ha!  Thank you sweet friend, I love it! It's Wednesday again.  Only this time it's February!  Can you believe it?  My Wednesday Faves are probably going to be all about cleaning and organizing for the next few weeks.  I'm whipping this house into shape!  Also my phone, laptop, photos, etc. Nothing is safe from my cleaning and organizing frenzy, ha, ha! 1) After my detailed set up (Walt, you know you loved it), my first Fave has nothing to do with cleaning and organizing.  BUT, I loved what this said.  Sometimes I feel like I have a lot of "ordeals", but would like to work towards a lot more "adventures". 2) I love this label maker!  I may have had this as a Fave before, but it warrants a second nod.  It's easy to use and so convenient!  Highly recommend! 3) I needed to fill this space in my closet and I recently discovered that The Container Store has different sized shoe boxes: flats, medium heel, and high heeled shoes.  These boxes are the high heeled sho...

It's time for Wednesday Faves!  Isn't it Thursday, you ask?  Why yes, yes it is.  What can I say?  Better late than never... 1) I got new lamps for my bedroom and I love them!  They are fun and really light up the room so much better than my other ones did.  Wayfair has just what I need, ha, ha! 2) Our awesome Grow Group gets more awesome every day!  As of this year, we are all empty nesters.  Our group has a total of 33 kids in it.  Ahem, "adult children"... on Tuesday night, each couple drew the number of children they have (you couldn't get your own) and committed to praying for them for the semester of Grow Group.  I love it, and consider it an honor to pray for these young adults.  I look forward to getting to know more about them and seeing how God will work in their lives in the coming months.  I am also beyond happy to see other adults pouring into my children.  Love it! 3) I love my UGG slip-ons....

I had hoped to expand my blog beyond just my Faves in 2019, but so far, there has been no time.  My hat goes off to those who seem to do it all!  I'll get there, eventually.  This week's Faves are pretty fun! 1) My lovely daughter gave me this tote bag for Christmas.  I had seen it online months earlier, so when she told me about it I already had "my four" in my Notes on my phone.  You pick favorite four things, for me it was ID TV, Online Shopping, Finley (sweet baby girl), and Wine.  The bag helps some sort of charity or other, but it's just so darned fun!  Thank you, Hayley! 2) I have laughed at this for days!  Walt laughed out loud at work when I texted it to him.  I saw it on Facebook and I have to say that the girl who ends up with this kid will be very lucky.  He has set his future marriage up for success! 3) I was very lucky to get two weighted blankets for Christmas, from two people who know me VERY well!  I love t...

Well, hello there!  It's Wednesday again, and I'm finally feeling back to my old self.  I found so many Faves this week that it was hard to narrow it down to four, but I pushed through!  Here they are: 1) I bought these cups for each member of my family for Christmas and I had SO much fun picking the right sentiment on each cup for each person.  This is the one I bought for my son, Harrison, and it might be my favorite.  Harrison told me that when he's at work his boss will walk by and turn the cup so that the words face the customers.  I love that!  2) Walt got this game for Christmas from our daughter, Hayley, and it is hilarious!  I highly recommend it.  I'm not sure what is the most fun, but I suspect it is watching your friends and family get so tickled they can't even read the cards.  Highly recommend! 3) Also for Christmas, Walt received this digital photo frame from Nixplay.  What I love about it is this:...

Here we go full on into 2019!  It was a rough start for me as I got sick on New Year's Day and am still kinda feeling it.  Today the doctor said what I had was either viral or Mountain Cedar Fever, or more likely, both.  I got a steroid shot today, so we will see...I told my friends that steroid shots are nectar of of the gods.  I have high hopes!  But, onward and upward to my Faves! 1) This stuff is the best!! It has helped me get the rest I need (and Walt needs) while I have been sick.  My daughter Hayley found it in our medicine box when she was sick at Christmas and recommended it to me when I got sick.  This is my second bottle!  It's a winner! 2) My friend Donna recommended this trick and I jumped on it!  On January 2nd (because I was SUPER sick on January 1st), I turned all the hangers in my closet backwards.  As I wear an item, the hanger goes back the other way.  Whatever hasn't been worn by June 1st (unless the...
