Wednesday Faves Week #4

Can you believe we are already in Week #4 of 2018?  I am in Fayetteville, Arkansas today, visiting my middle child.  But still the Faves must go on!!
1) My new blog site design.  If you spend any time with me you know I love to change things up: my phone cover, screensaver, laptop case, purse, and now my blog site!  The first day I started fiddling around with it, I think I changed it about 7 times.  I listened to feedback and incorporated some of it.  I like it a lot, but I am still itching to tweak it!  Of course I am.  I told my friend Kim not to let me change it too often, and she said I could change it on the first day of every month.  Yikes!  That's more than I thought...I really want to find one I love, and stick with it for familiarity.  I really like this one a lot (for now), but don't be surprised if it changes a few more times.
2) Pure Barre.  Who knew?  I started taking classes at Pure Barre this month and I surprisingly love it!  I suck at it, I'm the largest, most uncoordinated one there, but between the camaraderie I feel with both the instructors and students, and the sense of accomplishment from being able to do a little more each time, I have really missed it this week while I've been in Fayetteville! 3) I love these furry blankets!  I used to have them in my Family Room, but I moved them upstairs to the media room, and I gave some to my kiddos.  With it freezing in Fayetteville, I've been living under this blanket!  I think when I get back home I'm going to pull them back down from the upstairs.  I just love them!  They came from Pier One.
4) Mangos Gourmet Taco Shop in Fayetteville.  We ordered it and had it delivered by The Bite Squad, and it was SO delicious and inexpensive!  My favorite meal while I was here!  I had the California Burrito, pretty standard (shown in the photo above), and Harrison had the Mango Burrito, which did not actually contain Mangos, but did contain french fries. I ate half of mine for dinner and the other half the next day.  Both were super yummy!

So, a friend of mine texted me this week and suggested I try something that might definitely make the Faves list.  I loved that she did that, and can't wait to try the "something" when I get home!  If you think of something I need to try, feel free to let me know!  Have a great Wednesday!

    If you haven't been to the Freckled Hen Farmhouse in Fay (on MLK just past the HS), you must go visit. Adorable shop with the sweetest staff. Safe travels...

    Love the juxtaposition of the colorful images. ++ Would love to try Pure Barre. It looks intimidating.

  While I did get some random submissions for Faves this week (Larry’s will never happen), I remained on my own. 1) SHOWKOO Luggage Set  I got this luggage set for my upcoming trip (we leave Sunday) because I need to take the carry on and the duffle with me on the plane. I’m trying this duffle in lieu of my usual backpack. I’m excited about it, and hope it’s still a favorite after the trip! 2) Survivor Season 48  While it wasn’t our favorite season premiere, we LOVE Survivor in this house and we love watching it together! 3) Govee Lights  We recently added a bar in our house and my contractor made this light box and used Govee lights. We already have Govee lights around our TV so I was familiar with them and I love them! They can change colors, be put on a timer, etc., all from my phone.   Finally home and settled from our Australia/New Zealand adventure. My Faves this week were awesome for me while traveling! 1) Power Plug Adapter  We have used many different plug adapters while traveling, but these were the best we have used! With one adapter we were able to charge everything and I could even curl my hair, ha, ha! Highly recommend! These were compatible in Australia/New Zealand, so I’m hopeful to find some for our next travel adventure, 2) Rothy’s Sneakers  I may have posted these before, but I love love love them when traveling. I own two pair and took them both with me.  3) One Step Behind by Lauren North  I listened to this book (and two others) while on this trip. I had never listened to a book by this author, and I really enjoyed the book. Unique plot for sure. 4) Coach Sling Bag  This might be my favorite of all Faves! Friday Faves Cabo Edition

Today I’m in Cabo, traveling with my little Andy for the first time. Doing my Faves while he naps.   1) The Business Trip by Jessie Garcia  I’m not even sure how I found this book, and it seems to be the first one she’s written, but it was SO good! I listened to it and there was a full cast of narrators so it was like a performance. Loved the ending! Thought I had it figured out but I was wrong. 2) happyhappyhouseplant on IG  This is my current favorite account on IG. Her name is Mandi Gubler and she is awesome! I literally do not have one live plant in my house, but I’m obsessed with her and almost feel like I could try one! What I like best about her is that her IG stories aren’t long, and she’s very informative and encouraging. Some people I follow go on and on and tell you every minute of their day.
